Define "better" ;) For me better would be faster. As for now I cannot compare as I didn't get setCPU to run with this ROM here, while I can with Rudroid. Market works with both out of the box, with this ROM here you do not have to setup your device before use it (I mean this "tap on the android" procedure). Further testing is required.

touchscreen not working with LY-706. apps abruptly closed when pressed. Any hint or help how to fix this. Excellent ROM btw.

Tried setcpu 2.0.3 yesterday, for me it won't run with this ROM, it doesn't ask me for root access (root explorer does and works, so device is rooted definately) and leaves a black screen.So this ROM is pretty responsive and usable (skype and windows-live client preinstalled), it looks very professional (built from generic ROM update?), but for me setcpu won't work (with Rudroid on the same device I can run this), so my device is "just" 350 Mhz while I can run 400 Mhz with Rudroid.

hello,I have really big problem. Im searching rom with working market and sound. I have tried this one which is in 1st post but it didnt work. The touchscreen didn't work!This custom rom restored my generic Flytouch back into working order. Thanks! It also turned my unit into a "branded" (if there is such a thing) Flytouch. Not too sure though about the 1.9 FW. The Apps Market seems to be the real version this time and not China version or whatever you call it.However, I still keep getting that annoying YouTube WebFLV error that plagued my unit in the original ROM. Anyone have a workaround for this?

@orionomniTry to use the Youtube.apk from either Flytouch 2.0.1_88 or xFlytouch 1.9_88.For viewing the apk from Flytouch 2.0.1_88 uses a Viewer (for me Meridian).

A noob question... Can we install ClockworkMod Recovery in this Flytouch/Apad 256? or any other way of recovery ?ClockworkMod in ROM manager ask for model of phone... which one can we use?
