VITRO P70

http://www.vitro-tec...hp?id=62&pid=42

I've recently bought this tablet. Its spec is similar to TECLAST P78 tablet. (OEM?)

Everything seems OK but for the absence of root access.

Has anyone succeeded getting root access of this tablet?

Please share your experience, if any.

Cheers,

Hi, somebody in the thread regarding the Teclast P78 said that the Vitro P70 firmware works on this device. Probably the rooting method described there works on the Vitro too.

Cheers.

HellG, Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, Teclast P78 method has never worked.

Good news is I've found a working way to obtain the root access for this device which I want to share with others.

It works on the latest firmware (p70.20130517).

Just DL this file and extract.
Attach your device on USB debug mode.
Run the "run.bat" script.
And you're done!

Enjoy,

I'd like to try it on my Vitro.
Could you re-upload the file?
thanks

Hi,
you can use the utoo-root-signed.zip from this post: <File seems to be not available anymore> and install it via sdcard.

There is a new firmware for the Vitro P70 and clones (e.g. Teclast P78): http://www.slatedroi...ost__p__1077001
