I'm sorry if this has been asked before... but I don't seem to find an answer....

OTG..... is it a kernel, hardware or OS problem?

I have tried the Power comb OS ( can't remember which kernel I tried... there has been a few!) .... I had no success ... tried many progs from the store that claim to activate/indicate if it is working or not.... still nothing.

I have also tried various powered hubs.... still nothing...

I'm stumped....

Any help greatly appreciated

Cheers!

Apologies if its in the wrong section... but in my eyes its a ROM issue...

afaik, there's only one rom that offered the otg usb host thang and it looks like you've already tried it - UsbPowaComb 2.1 by XxOmarxX (based on Ac3 Gtacomb33)

Hi and thanks for the reply....but it was strange that wouldn't work with mine...

I was sure that would be the answer but also hoping there was another way.

The main reason was the rtl2832u USB dvb stick that is capable of being used as an SDR radio..... the current software I have seen needs a minimum of ICS... :-( so looks like its ditch the hannspree and look at a newer tab.....

Cheers
