Also found this tool.

But I don't know if it works. I'm waiting for my tablet to arrive.

Hello i can't make windows 7 64bit recognize my PIPO M9 V2 . I even tried different operating system through VMWARE windows xp sp3 . I only used the mini usb to usb provided with PIPO . I also tried holding the ESC button while connecting the usb cable to my computer . Has anyone made his PIPO M9 recognisable via Rockchip batch tools 1.6 drivers ? I only want to root with the official ROM 20130319

I have Windows 7 64bits and my M9 is recognized without any problems. I didn't try this tool, but I did transfer files from my PC to my tablet via USB cable.

@alainlizotte

I don't have a problem recognizing it as a mass storage device . I can access the internal memory card and files . I have a problem recognizing it as M9 device where the Rockchip drivers should help but instead i get a yellow question mark .

To install device drivers I pressed and held the escape button on the PIPO M9, then inserted a paper clip into the reset hole, windows found a new device, follow the guide in the link below.

PiPO_M9_update_(V2)_20130319. rooted.

PiPO is uploading new firmware to their website as I'm typing this message...Would be helpful if someone can decipher change logs.

It seems they changed something, since in Pipo website now there are two FW versions - 'old PCB' and 'new PCB'. I am currently waiting for mine but this type of changes manufacturers do always make me worried. Perhaps it has some common fault like M3? Also couldn't find how do you distinguish these two versions.

Tested tablets > Ainol: Elf II, Aurora II, Crystal, Hero, Fire | Pipo: S1, S1PRo, S3, S3PRo, M9, M8Pro | Yuandao: N70s(RK3066), N70s(RK3168) | FNF Ifive: Mini x3

Would recommend any time of the day or night > Pipo M9.
