Hello All.

I have an IROLA dx 752 with rd2926 chip. I was able to root my device using Coyote's info on first
message. however can still not get connected via ADB-USB. However, if i use wireless adb i can
connect and i can access all adb commands and see all files on the device. I would rather not
use wireless but i don't know why the usb adb doesn't work.

you can also change the permissions of install-recovery.sh later within Android with ES-Explorer.
You have to set it (-rw-r--r--)

should look like this

Hi mates I'm just new here, this forum is one i love the most to visit everyday.

just need some help with my tablet. I bought a china tablet, However i mistakenly install chain3d to boost graphics to play hd games. After the automatic reboot the tablet got stuck in android logo. tried to recovery it through recovery mode however it won't go to the android logo anymore it was stuck at tablet model. now i did visit alot of forums on how to unbrick. Now i was able to open it by updating the firmware to tm720 but the wifi won't turn on and reverse axis, so i update it to prestigio multireader 5274b. It opened but with no touchscreen and reverse axis. I haven't given up yet, still searching forums to forums for some info want i need to do, however now luck yet. i've been doing this for weeks now. btw my tablet specs:

Chipset: RK2926

TS Chipset: gls1680.ko

to add up when i bought it, the model indicating on my tablet was 706 and it was under kernel rk2928sdk-eng.

Hoping some assistance

Thanks in regards.

I'm very newbie.

I have a tablet AOC Breeze MW0712, when I try upgrade the firmware in the official page I see that the chip is RK292X.

This rom (Clockworkmod) can be installed in a chip RK292X ?

The steps are the same as when I upgrade the official firmware?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

DV137-SPE tablet (from Clip Sonic Technology, french lowcost brand) successfully rooted!

Tanks to codycoyote!

Best regards,

Damien.

And now the CWM successfully installed to!

Thanks again to codycoyote!

It remains me to find how to remove this fu**ing boot splash screen (not the boot animation) added by the distributor.

Regards,

damien.

@codycoyote : can you explain how to re-activate Bluetooth, please?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

damien.

@codycoyote : Up !  ^_^

i bought this (Proscan PLT7223G-B RK2926) and for a few days a looked all over the x*a site and the web without any success. i managed to root it with Vroot.apk but it sucks... and i dont trust it...

i managed to root and install the cwm backup from this thread within 4 minutes!

even if i lucked out and cant figure out how to root it again i can always root it with Vroot.apk and afterwards i willl be able to flash a Supersu zip through your cwm recovery!

su will then be permanent and i will no longer have Vroot when i reboot my tablet.

thanks a bunch!

The only reason I created an account here is to tell you that your instructions worked really well.Model: TM-MID720Touchmate device (prominent in Gulf regions, especially UAE)Kernel Version: 3.0.36+Build number:RK292X_ANDROID4.1.1-SDK-v1.00.00rk2926sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H 20130103.174716 release-keysI was able to root and install clockwork recovery. From there on, installed CWM ROM Manager and made backup of Current ROM in MicroSD - all without any hitches. Now all I need is a working ROM for my device that is higher than 4.1.1, preferably 4.1.2+! The only reason to root this is so that I can connect this device to enterprise WiFi, which it currently can not. After a lot of google searches, the only possible solution was to upgrade the Android version.Apparently, this is the only good solution as gathered from here: https://code.google....detail?id=34212So, if anyone can guide me to solution / CM link which I should use, then please do let me know. Thanks once again codycoyote. You can add the above model to your tested devices.Keep up the good work!

My tablet is same, text me touch me

Help me root touch mate Porto tab. I tried your instructions, but no success. My tablet just reboot after running the batch file. Thanks in advance.
