Connecting the Venus tablet to the PC via USB cable

Anyone tried connecting the tablet to the PC using a USB cable? Every time I try, the screen becomes unresponsive. The problem goes away if I disconnect the cable. Mostly it's a hit or miss thing. I have to try numerous times before it connects so I can browse the files on the tablet using the computer.

Found the solution given by someone from another forum. Apparently you have to turn off USB debugging from settings then connect the tablet to the computer via USB cable.
