Hi,
in XDA have managed the first CWM Recovery for V971 and V972 Onda:

Actually the second ;) Look at my thread in the Novo9 Subforum, twrp and cwm is available for download, try it out, I think it should work for Onda :)

Hi kant,
You can not uninstall it.
But you can flash the original one if you get it's dump/image.
Also if you flash any of the stock firmwares (1.32, 1.21,...) you will recover the stock recovery.

You wouldnt need to uninstall CWM, you would image over it. But right now we are still waiting for the drivers from the Onda v972 to be ported into the TWRP rom

Even better if can get touch to work in the cwm or get twrp to work. I would prefer twrp myself.

Hey Steve Do you think you can change the CWM Recovery img and add touch? Or even better port over TWRP Touch Recovery?

As Arctablet said, it's not really necessary. We have one working CWM now, and the devs should use their valuable time to concentrate on making ROM/Kernels. No need to enforce a more comfortable version. :drinks: not yet
