OK, I have the last version of the ZT-180 V2.
I have rooted in and deleted all lines in the host file expect for the "127.x.x.x" as instructed in other post.
I am looking for a complete list of setting in the 3g, networks, etc.... and correct setting to allow data to transfere over wifi.
Can not load any website.
I believe i have the lastest official firmarware from manafacture and all my apps work.
Not sure why/what i am missing to access websites with a good wifi connection.
any and all suggestions or questions are welcome.
seems like i should just be missing something easy....

Hmmm, so you did the hosts fix, saved the hosts file with the changes (keeping only the line "127.0.0.1 localhost"), and rebooted your tablet before you tried to get online with the tablet? Check the hosts file and see if it only has the first line, just to make sure. You have the ethernet and 3G turned off in settings, and only wifi on? Wifi connected with no problems? At least for people who were having an issue with the Google Market/Play Store, I've been told that it takes a little time and a few reboots before the fix actually fixes things.... If you tried to go online before rebooting your tablet, you may need to go into Settings/apps/manage apps/all tab and select the apps you tried, and clear it's cache and/or data and then try them again.... You say you can't load a website, so I gues you were using the Browser app....

trying all the above now....only 1 question...how do i confirm "G3" is turned off?

My bad, I was thinking of the ZT-280's, seems I completely forgot how Froyo worked on the ZT-180's....

OK, I looked at the settings on my ZT-180 v2 10" that's on the 0613/0618 mixed ROM, in the Ethernet setting I have a check, and in Wifi I have a check, and everything seems to be running fine on my tablet.... When I don't have a check marked for Ethernet, my internet via wifi doesn't work.... I had to put a check back in Ethernet and then reboot the tablet (or connect then disconnect my ethernet connection) for the internet via wifi to work again... Not sure why it's like that, I've never tried to use Ethernet on my tablet, so I never looked at that setting before.... Sorry for any bad info I gave you....

Update
After confiming the host file...I have been able to get wifi to connect and send/recieve data by connection the usb dongle to ethernet to my router..manually configure settings...and restart with it connected and internet worked...I then enabled wifi and disconnect cable and can access internet through wifi..untill i turned wifi off and back on...so at this point I have to connect through cable then engage wifi. If i can manage to never turn either power or wifi off i will be fine...LOL

well i got tired of only playing angry birds...
so i went back through my wifi settings and setup static...well it seems that the order of gateway and netmask is not the same as on a pc...so i just typed in what i am used to being the order it asked for...well on this pad it ask for gateway before netmask, so once i corrected that...POW online over wifi all happy as it should be....I feel silly, but i knew it had to be something simple i was missing.....thanks for the help.
