Actually smb_a1007 branch is not compiling but i could fix this. Very logical and interesting point of view :)
Hannspad SN10T1 1653 - totally fond of SOD !
LG Optimus 4X HD P880 - bootloader locked !
Galaxy S i9000 - running CM10.1 with ease !

moving here to make some kernel thinking.

SODs are biggest stability and battery issue on hanssy pad. Have done some testing with dirty bean and antibyte's kernel from ICS times, a 2.6.39 one with hdmi fix...

results: there are no sods with it, but audio is pretty missing. Voltages and busses are pretty different in 3.1 kernel, there must be the cause.
Like my work sir? maybe you could buy me a beer.

So this is the stuff that clemsyn has changed:

He seems pretty certain that it's the cause of the SODs. I hope he's right....

I've had SODs since the days of ICS. I wonder if it's all voltage related. I'm sure antibyte, slyking or another dev fiddled with voltages once but without fixing the SODs.

i can't find antibyte's github repo for hdmi 2.6.39 ... we should compare clocks with that.

Meanwhile andy, try if you're on dirtybean, this kernel: http://www.solidfile...m/d/393710984c/

except for audio problem, it's rocksolid on wakeups

I gave this combo a go and it's not preventing SODs on my tablet. My hannspad is one of those few that really like to SOD so it's probably a good rom+kernel for most people.

Funny thing was that I only got a SOD once I'd logged into our wireless network. No gapps installed. Weird.
