So a friend recently gave me his old Nexus 7, the digitzer is broken, but no way to fix it due to lcd and digitzer are glued together and replacment parts are essentially the same cost as a new one.
So does anyone know if i can gut the nexus 7 and use certain parts on the crystal?

Like maybe the battery? or other easily swappable parts

Even if it doesnt physically fit a nexus battery would be worth something on e-bay.

broken nexus 7's go for about $30-60 right now. So thats why i thought maybe i should use it to make my crystal better. I thought about replacing the back case but would require lots of retro fitting it to ainol(since ports dont match)
Anyone know Ainols battery specs....all it needs to be is the right voltage right?
