Thanks for early reply.

Yes I have had sound problem with android v4.2.2  2013-05-21 version and android v4.1.1 had resolved it.

Then on 6th Dec 2013 I have flashed with latest version:

atm7029_AINOL_SDK0809_NOVO101_2013-10-18

Downloaded from:-

http://pan.baidu.com/s/13nsFS

and it works fine with full sound till 16-01-2014.

But TODAY when I flashed with atm7029_AINOL_SDK1119_NOVO101_2014-01-04

the sound disappear. Then I again flashed with previous version the sound again come back.

Thanks you again for remembering my problem

I don't know how to flash with recovery mode if u please let me know the procedure I would be very grateful to u.

Hello Friends - maybe one of you can help me...

2 days ago, I watched a movie on my Ainol Novo Captain Quad Core 10.1 - after the movie, I turned off the tablet to standby (as I always do)

Today, when I wanted to turn it on again, I only got a black screen, which is lightend up in the background, but no picture is shown.

So I came to this site, downloaded the newest FW (4th of Jannuary) and wanted to flash it by PAD Product Tool, exactly the same way, like in December.

It did work - I received the message "successfull" in PAD-Product-Tool.

But, the tablet won´t let me turn it on by normal on/off switch, only Recovery-mode is possible - if I use the reboot option (TWRP is installed), only the black screen appears...

So I tried to flash with an older FW-Version.... same problem...

Does anyone have an idea, what to do now ??

Please help me :-)

Good... Well, maybe the files aren't same enough.

To find out is it the sound driver, you could take the

sndrv.ko file from the old misc.img and put it to the new.

Flash just the misc.img, no erase, no formatting

Or flash the new misc and then just flash this

in the recovery mode: http://yadi.sk/d/VR6bDZZVGDDLx

(if it works the previous probably worked too)

To enter the recovery mode start tablet by pressing the

Power and VolumeDown buttons at the same time.

Or just rename the file to "update.zip" and copy it to

the root of your sdcard (internal) and use Owl Upgrade

to flash it (Local Upgrade).

You might try Wakelock, from Play store. The trade off is battery life. Set it to partial, see if it helps.

Yeah, i know this software.

I think I better off the tablet whenever i never use but this is irritating as the booting is slow even the quick boot is selected.

Never had any sod problems. (knocking on wood)

Less than 20 secs with quick boot from the moment the power is pressed.
Feels quite quick to me. Normal boot takes only twice as long.
But feels longer, especially if watching.

Maybe a better bootanimation would help?

Or put some sound into it. (here's mine http://yadi.sk/d/9j6nq1RDGGvTo)
ro.bootmusic.enable=1 to build.prop and mp3 to /system/etc/poweron.mp3

Or replace the boot animation with a video. Just flash this zip
in recovery mode: http://yadi.sk/d/sEEFWqNSHDkYn

To use your own mp4 put it to the root of the internal memory
with name boot.mp4. It's then copied to /system/media folder.
To uninstall re-run the installer...
BTW, the quickboot doesn't work with it.

SOD. System does not respond, yet CPU runs at max speed, screen unresponsive. Bat, CPU gets very hot.To be expected with SOD.

try add it to build.prop
