Where can I find the firmware update tool for Novo 7 Myth/Venus? Is there another version? I downloaded the firmware version 131 from the Chinese website and tried to update using the included update tool but I couldn't get the computer to recognize the tablet.

Antutu & HTML5 results are good and close to very good but not great. Only Metal on low side because of Cortex A5 CPU.

My HTML5 results are around 1,550 & Antutu 11,900 on N80 (RK3066). But, 4412 gets 1,150 in HTML5 and 15,000 in Antutu.

So, from 1,000+ for HTML5 is very good (1,250+ great, 1,500+ excellent) and 11,000+ is very good (13,000+ great, 15,000+ excellent) with Antutu 3.1.

Metal is single threaded test. It measures only 1 CPU core. 500+ for Cortex A9. 350+ for Cortex A7. That means you get less performance per core but should perform very well if app is threaded for 4 cores. Which 15-20% probably are.

*MINIX NEO X5 (RK3066) - OK. Not fun because uses mouse cursor.
*YUANDAO N80 DUAL (RK3066) - Very good
*CUBE U30GT (RK3066)- Defective; buttons broke in 2-3 weeks; Bad quality control!!! I will never buy a Cube again!!! - Very good while working
*WOPAD I7 (RK2918)- About OK. Sluggish because has weaker ARM chip (RK2918) & less RAM (512 MB).

Got it. Venus and Myth are actually the same. They call it Myth in China.

Just wanted to thank you for this. Flashed yesterday, had a little learning curve (this is similar enough to Odin, but had a few snafus figuring out what to include), and we're left with a Venus that has never been this good to use.

For anyone having issues, my success came when I included everything in the rar file in its respective partition. When I tried flashing bits and pieces I was not bootable.

Please include detailed Antutu 3.1 scores for these tablets. Helps to see a full breakdown of scores for comparing to other tablets/chips. Thanks.

I have found the root capability, but in the build.prop file, the value is already at 8m, did you change something on your side ?
