What is this double-flush I've read about, don't remember where. Something about clearing cache twice when updating firmware.

What are the steps for this?

This is how I "DOUBLE FLASH" a stock ROM.
Using STOCK recovery....
3 Wipes
Flash ROM
3 Wipes
Hard reset by inserting pin/paperclip into mic hole
Reboot back into recovery
3 Wipes
Flash ROM
Remove external SD Card
Wipe media partion ONLY
REBOOT

NOTE : To clarify the term "3 wipes" means
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache
wipe media partion
(Only done once each)

I open it with notepad and change number and save it
then copress it to zip archive

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum so please go easy on me.......

I bought a Novo 10 Hero for my son for his birthday and everything seemed to work straight out of the box apart from the wifi issue. The firmware on it was 20121227. I am based in the UK
Anyway i thought that if i updated to this been the latest FW it would solve the problem but has caused me more issues........

Installed official firmware and see there is no google play apps so wanted to go back to how it came but can not fine the FW that it came with anywhere.

I have now installed official 1219 FM and pretty much everything works but issue with YouTube............the app works and i can watch videos etc but when i go to sign into my account i get a msg saying i need to update 'Google Play Service' i then get redirected to play store to download 3.0.25 but get not compatible msg.

Can anyone please help?!?

I don't understand how to Flash the GAPPS. I put both files (ZIP and RAR) on my SD card root, and now I don't know how to load the TWRP.

I tried putting the uImage_Recovery.bin from the TWRP 2.3.3 rar file into the root of my SD (I backed up the uImage_Recovery file that was there from the 0128 update), and now my tablet doesn't boot. I really don't understand this stuff...

I'm still new at this :\

I'm still new at this :\

Procedure

Install 0128 FW
extract 0128Gapps.rar put TitaniumBackup folder in root of internal storage
Go to Setting - Security - Tick Unknown sources
Turn on Developer Option
Turn on USB debugging
Restore missing application from Titanium Backup


reboot tablet

Does anyone have a Nexus 7 footprint? The 10.1 footprint doesn't work as well. Can I use a Nexus 7 footprint that is available for the 1115v2 firmware?

I open the camera and it was fine.
Then I put the camera in front so all good.
I put the camera in front way again and again harm.
I do not think that the problem are the cable connections :s .
