Hello guys,

After searching, finally I was able to find the way to root the Ployer MOMO7 (It might work on other RK3066 devices too)

The adb.exe in this file could recognize our tablet, unlike the adb in android sdk.

Steps:

1. Enable the USB debugging option in "Developer options" under Settings.

2. Connect the tablet using USB data cable to the computer.

3. Extract the attached zip file to any location. Use any one of the below

Superuser:
Attached File  ROOT_MOMO7.zip (1.86MB)
Number of downloads: 266

Supersu: (somewhat faster)
Attached File  ROOT_MOMO7_supersu.zip (1.46MB)
Number of downloads: 188

4. Double click the ROOT.bat and follow instructions.

Enjoy :good:

Sorry i messed up tablet with other root method thats why it was not working. Now I freshly installed stock firmware and rooted with this method, and its working fine now.

Thanks a lot

Creative Dude,

What a great post, It works like a charm so a massive thanks for sharing such an easy method to root this device. I'd been searching for a method that did not include using the Chinese root method.

For info .... MOMO 7 dual core IPS running JB.

Ok, so now with root access anyone got a good easy method to change build prop in order to trick Google play into thinking the MOMO is a Samsung or Nexus or something. I'd like more apps available.

Cheers and thanks again.

I found this adb in a Chinese site and compiled with latest su and superuser to make it workable.

Yeah friends, ES explorer or root explorer can help editing these files and remove Chinese apps
/system/build.prop
and many other tweaks. shall post when found them.

Root ANY Android 4.0 and 4.1 devices!

I'm using unlockroot.com *
Click on Image, than UnlockRoot Pro, than Free Download. *
Turn USB-Debbuging in your device on (Settings, Developer options). *
Connect your device. *
Start Unlockroot and click on the green button Root. *
That's all and works on ALL Android 4.0 and 4.1 devices!

So as an update for the newbies like me, I always had the "device not found", so I installed momorobo to have the drivers installed and then I was able to root it with the instructions provided! Thanks a lot!
