Feiyu 130 seems to be running very well.
I want to share my tablet with my kid so I am anxious to get JB 4.2 on. Looks like Christian has made great strides with CM10.1 so that's where I want to go, although I had not luck getting it up and working with the instructions in that thread (maybe having upgraded from Feiyu 4.0.4 to this latest build will help bridge the gap)

Hi,

I had the same problem. I solved all issues by the following procedure:

1. Flash a recent ainol stock ROM, such as Official FW1212 from this thread (choose the right one for TM or QM!). Any other recent official FW (September/October 2012) should work as well.

2. Flash Feiyu 0130.

3. Unpack factory-reset-1.2.rar on SD-card and boot into recovery! Watch out that you do NOT use an earlier version of factory-reset!!!

4. Copying the appropriate TWRP 2.3.3.0 for Fire 1.2 to SD card. Flashing most recent builds of CM10.1 - gapps - comp-zip-1.3.1.

5. Doing a wipe cash/dalvik

Reboot

Then, it worked. After that, for any update of CM10.1 only steps 4 (and eventually 5) are neccessary.

Cheers,

Eriol

Mine came with 0815 and it's staying that way. Everything works flawlessly. I can stream live HDtv, run movies from SD and browse the 'Net from the sofa, no problem. I'd like to "upgrade" to 4.2, but frankly there's not one ROM available here which seems perfect and I'd want better support than the cryptic comments offered. I'd suggest that, unless you're willing to run bleeding edge and suffer the need for constant patches, then you should stick with what you've got - especially as even the so called "official" releases have proven to be full of issues.

For me, Feyiu Happy Festival edition - but something seems strange to me about colours (washed out reds ?) on all Feyiu roms, I'll open a topic about this soon.

have been using paranoid android 4.2.1 - seems to be pretty good, no major issues with it and like the ability change the UI style :)
