Hi guys, I messed up with my tablet flashing this rom for non-retina a31 tablets. I knew screen wouldn't have worked and in fact it stays black all the time, the only way to use it is connecting it to TV through HDMI and using mouse.
The problem is I'm not able to flash back previows roms through Phoenix Suit using standard procedure because as I connect the tablet to the pc it wakes up before I start pushing power button (I've tried almost any button but no one worked).
Buttons are configured this way:
volume down corresponds to back button
volume up produces a click sound, don't know what it is
back button doesn't work
power button works good

EDIT: :yahoo: I've been finally able to flash it back changing windows settings, this tab is definetely idiot-proof

By the way this rom is interesting, it runs Android 4.2.2 and for the few things I've been able to try it seemed fast. We would need a patch though to make it work on our chuwi since screen and wifi modules are different on our tab. I don't have the knowledge to do that unfortunately.

Is resolution lowering now possible? Could make this tablet much smoother :-)

Not yet, but now the Kernel Files have been released. The V99 Dual Core does have & SD mode & I made this request in Lambstone's Timeless Rom thread so hopefully. I'm hoping a SD mode smooth out some web surfing / PDF lag & possible battery savings.

I'm not that sure to get what you meant, is this related to phoenixsuit flashing or to making that 4.2.2 firmware work on chuwi? Because now my device works good, I managed in flashing it back to stock rom :)

Hi guys ;)

I'm a noob' in this procedure for update my tablet. Could you please help me ?
I've a quad core A31 Chuwi V99 tablet bought on january but i've a lot of bugs, freeze, and the system is very slow.

- Very slow when i use a flash application game (Example: Ginger the cat - Children app for my daughter)
- Bugs sometimes when the tablet comes in "veille" mode
- Impossible to use the tablet at the begining, a lot of App' are connect on Internet for update. Notifications rings
- Lags with Internet explorer with scrolling.

I think it's a good tablet but i see a lot of lags, freeze and it's too slow for opening app' and use Internet Explorer.

What's for you the best solution firmware/update for the tablet ? (Stable, works and functionnal)
If possible, an installation easy...

Thank you for your understanding. I read 39 pages of this post and i'm confuse now :(

As far as I'm concerned, Lambstone's timeless rom is the best one to run. As for how to install it, just check out his thread: http://www.slatedroi...eless-rom-v0005
