Should I upgrade it to newer FW? if yes, which one? i have read somewhere about a new test FW (released this April after 2013-03-20 official FW) and people r liking it very much.
I want to make a copy/image of my currently installed ROM/FW (one without Chinese Apps), how to do it?
how do I chck if my device is rooted (i.e I can have the root access)?

Yes. I recommend CT's repack of 20130403v2 or AOKP.

In order to install any of these roms, you must previously install TWRP.

The Spark is rooted from factory.

Btw, I'm waiting a new revision of firmware, in which I expect Ainol fix keyboard lag and GPU performance, which dropped in comparison with 1.35 based roms.

The device is prerooted which means it's a good idea to install a program like supersu so that you can control which apps gain root access..

About the low volume you can use an app called speakerboost..

To turn off press Power for 10 sec. If still stuck on Ainol logo you have to flash with Phoenix Suit any firmware you want. Tutorial for Phoenix here

I clicked the following link to download CT's repack:

https://mega.co.nz/#...lzljUSq_ULdp8OE

It was downloaded 100% without mentioning the destination folder, now I couldn't find it on my PC.

Should I download it again??

Please help!

When you download from mega, and it completes at 100%, Firefox prompts the save dialog. So stay tuned at download progress.

Hello, I need some help again. Despite all my efforts I just can make this thing work, and I am desparate. On brand new firmwareinstalation it keeps freening and the responsitivity is horrible. I read back in the toppic that yuo can turn the CPU to work harder and this issues are gone.
I installed system tuner app, but I do not know what to do next. Can someone explain me with details because I am not very in common with these devices?

Thank you so much in advance!

P.S. I am with the latest version provided from Ainol 20130320-LX-V1, and I read that there is some fleuo version or something like that. Can someone tell me where I can find it and what are the steps to install it?

I am sorry for all these questions, but frankly said I do not know where alse to ask, and I definately do not have the money to buy another tablet.

Install AOKP or latest stock firmware version (0422). More info at http://www.slatedroi...k-LX-20130422v1

Sorry, for the stupid question but what is AOKP and from where I should install it? I should choose between AOKP and the official firmware, right?

Please, explain me in more details.

thank you in advance for all your help, to those who do not understand a thing...

Google is your friend.
AOKP stands for "Android Open Kang Project", which you can find here for the Spark:

Hi i just recieved my novo9
I installed the spark_4.11_feiyu_mod_(0425) and my previous firmware wasn't 2013.4.22

it was installed over 2013.01.**

should the custom rom be installed on the last version of main rom or what ?

does it make any diffrent ?

and my rear camera has a problem even after updating

it's like when you're taking picture from a tv or monitor and it'll get worth at night
is it a hardware problem or software problem?

and the third question the back of the tablet doesn't strike me as metal it's seems to be plastic ( the black version )

It is recommended to install custom roms on top of the original stock-FW that they are based on.
At least my Spark was a little weird after I updated to newest Feiyu from AOKP. Had to reinstall stock-FW to fix it.

Aluminium doesnt always seem like metal.
I have the black version and I have completely disassemmbled it few times. It is aluminium and not plastic.

And for the cameras: Do ppl actually try to take pictures with the pos cameras? On top of it all, we are talking about 9,7" tablet! How can you keep your hand steady while taking a picture with such massive tablet (as there are no physical buttons for taking the shot).

Yes, I would say its normal. It is because of the light environment.
I guess you dont see that with more light.
