I have a Pipo M3 3G thats using the Decontaminated V3.0 rom, I managed to root it successfully immediately after installing the rom then proceeded to install all the other apps. Somehow along the way it got unrooted, and the root no longer sticks. I was using the TPSparky method linked in the review page, and it would report everything successful, but once I boot the tablet and run root checker it either checks indefinitely or returns with not rooted. I tried installing terminal emulator and I always get "$" indicating I'm not root, when I try "su" command it tells me permission denied. Yet if I try using adb when the tablet is connected via usb I can get root easily and do all sorts of stuff. So basicly I can access root from the PC the tablet is connected to, but not the tablet itself. Any ideas ? Anyone Experiencing similar problems ?

Couldn't you re-flash the firmware?

does the 3G still work with decontaminated?

I can confirm 3G does work with decontaminated, as for reflashing, I had installed alot of stuff on it and done several customizations I didn't want to lose and wanted to get root back to be able to use titanium. But eventually I manually backed up the important stuff and reflashed with the TNT firmware for the wifi M3, but the 3G doesn't work with that one obviously but I only wanted to test, it did root successfully. I might reflash decontaminated or the new M3 3G firmware, I just hope halfway through I don't end up losing root again.
