Hi guys, i previously had a problem when the pipo s1 was stuck on a boot loop but it's ok now. I got a new problem: the tablet wont even turn on so I cant flash it with Roman's ROM! The battery was at 1% because I forgot to charge it and now it won't even turn on! I plugged it in the mains and in the computer and both times the LED indicator is red but it does not turn on. I want to leave it to charge but the battery gets very hot and I think it is damaging the battery.

Please help.

Did you try pressing the reset button?

Tried it; did not work. Luckily, the seller said they will refund as it is still under the 60-day money back gurantee. Unfortunately, i flashed it with Roman's ROM; will this void the gurantee?

Try holding the Volume Button down and pressing reset.

Tried that to and it didnt work. I'm not too concerned about powering it up now because the seller said they will replace but they also gave the option to send another charger as they said the current charge may have a fault. Should I opt with another charger or ask for a replace becasue I have Roman's custom ROM which may/may not void the guarantee.

I faced the same problem. press the volume + and - and power button , plug your charger and keep holding buttons. Hold atleast for 5 minutes (its better if you can hold it longer), till it charges battery to 5%. then release buttons and let it power on. good luck.

I have ordered a 5v 2000ma charger.

I had the problem where i could charge the tablet but it would not turn on. the red light would stay on but nothing on the screen. i thought it was completely dead. I think i saw somewhere on a spanish forum that u could open the tablet and cut the red wire to the battery. so what the heck i tried it. working tablet now. :)

what i did:
with the tablet unplugged...
took the back off the tablet with a pry tool and guitar pick.
removed the tape from the battery section.
cut the red wire going to the large battery.
with the wire still cut... plugged the charger back in.
tablet lit up and booted up.

just connect the red wire back together with tape or solder.

i would recommend flashing http://www.rockchipfirmware.com/
im just hoping it wont happen again.
now... on to do the same to my S2.... :/ s3 is still running strong. for now

Open it up disconnect the battery. soldering is required but very easy. Reconnect the battery and it goes. There a better description in the guide sub forum

Just had my tablet for 2 days and the same thing happened. Tried everything from holding down volume buttons and power button for 5 min. but didn't work. Charger seems to work seeing red light on tablet when charged sometimes not but still won't power up. I'm about to try cutting the red wire but don't have soldering iron so I don't know. Any suggestions?

Leave tablet at charging over night ; or try to charge trough USB port.

---Do not speak English I'm using google translator!----

Hello friends! I opened the tablet and removed a metal cap which protects the processor and other componetens and watched a component was not ordinary. Scraped with a key and saw that he is burned (roasted). I believe this to be the problem. Now is knowing that this component is changing and to see if he responds.

I need help to know that this component is. With a lens almento seen reference (CU2AM), but I can not find this component. I know it is a voltage regulator.

Can anyone help me!!!

I will attach the photo.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to exist an item on ########### with the code "CU2AM" or "ALT1119UTR".
Either this info is not correct or you cannot buy this item.

The S1 has some problems with the charging...
