Just received mine today. Ordered the day it became available for pre-order on the Ramos website. Was expecting it to be shipped in January, but they got it out early by DHL (only $4 extra) and I got it already! Solid tablet, and it looks like it's already rooted. It boots into the bootloader by holding both the volume + & - down and pressing power. It has CWM 5.5.0.4 recovery. I'm going to try to load Jelly Bean on it, since it comes with ICS 4.04. It uses the same chips as the Samsung Galaxy 10.1, so I'm hoping that ROM will work. Wish me luck!

Hello,

you are one of the first person to own a W30HD.
I am also interested of buying one. I am a little bit unsettled about small battery of 5400mAh. Can say something about the battery? And please more impressions about the W30HD.

Can anyone confirm that this model actually has the HDMI output. Seeing conflicting reports on this spec.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3, rooted running Galaxy Mod.

I haven't received it yet... but when I do I will be glad to report on it.
I would think... at this point in the game... tablets should have HDMI standard... but what do I know...

Not having a hdmi port is a little bit disappointing for me. But I have a feeling it has to do with the chipset. What is interesting is that the Galaxy Note 10.1 also doesn't have a hdmi port, which uses a Exynos 4410. But then again the Note also doesn't have a USB port either. But it seems you get some weird adapters, so there might be a way.

Also, I see spemall.com started selling it now, I tried pasting the link, but it gets changed to some weird store in the US.

I agree.. I'm in a fix too! :(
I'm planning on purchasing a 9.7 or 10.1 incher too, with primary requirements of a good screen, great battery life and decent performance (shouldn't stall / freeze). Having HDMI and good stereo sound would be cherry on top!
Can anyone suggest best options? (< $300 budget)

I am considering purchasing either the W30HD or a Cube U9GT5

Does any one have any opinions as to which one I should go for?

Thanks

Yip, I am in the same dilemma, looking for the best value for money $300 tablet. Currently I am considering either the W30HD or the Ployer Momo 12: http://www.slatedroi...rum/447-momo12/

But specs wise the W30HD blows away the competition, if it had a hdmi port then it would probably be the best specced tablet in it price range. Just wondering how its small battery will keep up with that screen and CPU, but the CPU should probably have some nice energy saving features. Hopefully, someone with the tablet already can do some tests for us.

Hello,

I recieved my W30HD today, and ran straight into a problem. The Youtube App doesn't show anything. I can hear it, but no Video, and on top of it I get some strange "stripes" all over the screen. The same Problem apears when we use H/W acceleration in MX player or Vplayer. I heard it could be because of the wrong CWM? I have Version 5.5.0.4.

Maybe there is someone who has the Answer to those Problems :D

Google apps is in full and vorks without problems.

I can confirm issue with 1080p HW decoding and also with youtube and other streaming sites. I received answer from Ramos service and they confirm also this issue and ask to wait for firmware update. No ETA yet.

Those that already have the W30HD, can you maybe write some review for it, and please comment on the build quality etc.

Hopefully, soon there will be more custom firmware coming out for the W30HD. Has someone, figured out how to root the device yet.

Thanks

Device is rooted - CWM 5.5. I find only hw decoding issue till now. In benchmarks, games there is no problems at all. Device is really amazing fast. Antutu score about 15000pts, Quadrant top position with score above 4900.
and all this on android 4.0.4. I want even think what happends when custom rom will arrive and JB.

The W30HD is insanely fast, and if you ignore that opening thingy(whats it called? :D ) its very well build, ( no I am not getting paid for this :D ) The only real problem is HW acceleration. Also the locationfix with wifi doesnt work, because as far as I can tell its turned off in the default.prop or something like that. Is there anyone with experience that would like to help us fix those problems?
