I've tried using gamepads, mice, and keyboard but they won't detect. Flash drives will though, for USB host controller it says there is no S3C driver. Does that have to be compiled into the kernel?

Plut in the charger, and try again.

I tried to measure for output voltage from the mini USB of this Hold X AHD2 & didn't get any. I think a USB OTG cable with external power supply source is required to use the mini USB port.

Will update this post once I get the OTG cable ordered. I ordered the mini USB to USB female OTG cable.

Hmm, that would be interesting if you needed a powered usb hub, I've never bought any of them.

Yup! I hope I'm wrong too, coz I ordered the ordinary mini usb cable converter.

I hope you didn't run into the same situation I ran into.. I received mine from an online vendor, after playing with it for a while, setting up wifi, installing apps, this and that.. I plugged it into my PC it wouldn't connect, wouldn't work with a mouse, keyboard, USB flash drive or any other USB device I own. after about a week of emailing back and fourth between the company and myself, several phone calls, and eventually having it shipped to a third party repair company in Virginia, It eventually was determined that the OTG port was faulty and they had to ship me a replacement unit which as of today I am still waiting for.. They went the cheap route to ship the replacement and sent it registered mail (singapore post) instead of matching the DHL shipping on the original order.
