allwinner A31 Vs exynos 4412 what's the best performer

But A31 CPU seems to be faster due to his architecture. 64bits ans CPU core cache.further to the specs , it should defeat tegra 3.
But specs are not the most important.what do you think? Exynos or A31?
One more thing,i saw exynos can't décode 1080p vidéo, son ont son powerfull for tablet?

RK3188 is 28nm and Exynos Quad is 32nm. RK3188 will use less power at same clock frequency (ie. about 55% less power than chip @ 40nm like RK3066) and reach higher clock speeds. Exynos Quad will use 20% less power than 40nm chip. Also, it very likely will come with Mali400-MP4 @ 400 MHz (similar to Exynos Quad) or better GPU. GPU info has not been released.
According to specs. A31 is supposed to have better GPU performance than Mali400-MP4. But, specs are just theory and not always right. GPU benchmarking is the real way to know GPU performance!!!
One Chinese seller posted an early bench which showed Mali400MP4 GPU @ 400 MHz beating SGX544MP2 (A31) by about 10% in GLBenchmark tests. But I must see a couple more GLBenchmark results to verify for sure.
Edit: changed Exynos Quad from 40nm to 32nm.

*MINIX NEO X5 (RK3066) - OK. Not fun because uses mouse cursor.
*YUANDAO N80 DUAL (RK3066) - Very good
*CUBE U30GT (RK3066)- Defective; buttons broke in 2-3 weeks; Bad quality control!!! I will never buy a Cube again!!! - Very good while working
*WOPAD I7 (RK2918)- About OK. Sluggish because has weaker ARM chip (RK2918) & less RAM (512 MB).

Weird... I finished Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour on my PiPO U1 and didn't experience any Heat Problem...
RK3066 don't have this issues even running at full 1.6GHz Clock Frequency...

No heat issue on mine either when playing 3D games. Maybe your tablet has hardware issues?
Exynos Dual & RK3066 have Mali400-MP4 @ 266 MHz. Exynos Quad has Mali400-MP4 @ 400 MHz.
http://www.phonearen...y-S-III_id29494
If Exynos Quad can do Mali400 @ 400MHz at 32nm then I am very sure RK3188 can do it at 28nm.
PS, I "think" (or guess) RK3188 will use Mali400-MP4 @ 400MHz but waiting for Rockchip to confirm. I am pretty sure some Chinese site will do a review of RK3188 tablet and tell us first before anyone else.
Mali450 came out about 2-3 months ago which may have been too late for Rockchip to switch to. ie. ARM chips are designed over minimum of 6 months. Swapping Mali450 for Mali400 2 months back would have been kinda crazy but somewhat possible. Mali T GPUs too costly to license and unlikely to be used. Also, Rockchip had no idea A31 was coming with SGX544MP2 8 core. Probably assumed A31 would use Mali400-MP4 too. Also, Rockchip would have been trying to match Exynos Quad chip on the GPU side.
PPS, I am hoping RK3188 uses Mali450-MP4/MP8 but doubt it. Still, Mali400-MP4 @ 400 MHz could perform as good or better than SGX544MP2 in A31. GPU benches will tell for sure.

RK3188 ARM chip is very real! =)
RK3188 GPU is a guess (or theory)!
Cube will use RK3188 in their upcoming tablets. Yuandao put link on their site to another site that talks about how RK3188 is better than A31 on the CPU side. So, Yuandao appears to be going with RK3188 too. Aoson has also chosen RK3188 from link below.
http://www.imp3.net/...hp?itemid=36897
When are RK3188 tablets coming out? Could be 2, 3 or 4 months from today because none of the tablet makers have announced when to expect them. So yes, Exynos Quad & A31 are here today and are the ones that matter right now. RK3188 tablets not out yet and could be couple of months longer. So, they do not matter today to people but will at some future point in time. ie. some people may decide to wait for RK3188 rather than buy Exynos Quad today.
Exynos Quad will have the stronger CPU performance because:
#1. Uses Cortex A9. Cortex A9 is stronger than Cortex A7. Cortex A7 does 1.9 DMIPS/MHz. Cortex A9 does 2.5 DMIPS/MHz.
#2. Exynos Quad is clocked at 1.4GHz. A31 at 1.3GHz.
In terms of GPU performance, which is what most of us really care about for 3D gaming:
Very hard to say for sure which gives better gaming because:
#1. specs do not always tell the real truth for GPUs
#2. only GPU benchmarks can really tell us which ARM chip has better GPU and how much better (ie. the difference). GLBenchmarks are not out yet for A31.
PS, here you can see that Ramos W30 (Exynos Quad) is about same GPU performance to U30GT-H (RK3066)
http://www.glbenchma...ology%20U30GT-H
The U30GT-H GPU @ 266 MHz. Ramos W30 GPU @ 400 MHz. What gives??? Exynos Quad should be faster than RK3066 on the GPU side but it is not. Exynos Quad GPU performance is disappointing!

You are joking, right?
I have an Onda vi30dc based on the 8726-mx and don't have any heat issues. I get 6+ hours of battery life with wifi on, internet browsing, 25-40% brightness. Power consumption of this chip is very moderate. I have an A10 based tablet and currents shown by currentwidget are quite similar... the A10 being A8 single core and the onda A9 dual core.

No joke! I & others have seen people post about 8726-MX chip getting too hot for them. Happens with 3D gaming when you really stress the CPU & GPU out. Get a 3D game and run it for 30 mins. and you will understand what I mean. =)

I have seen different posts with someone complaining about heat issue on the Aurora-II or Fire tablets.
ie. RK3066 tablets can 3D game for long time and only get warm to very warmish but not hot.
