Ok, if you mean to transfer files from pc to the tablet then you don't need drivers. Just set the tablet to MTP mode then when you connect it to the PC it will appear as an external drive on the PC.

Hi,
I updated the firmware, there is a root. But there is a problem.
Connect to wifi, in the browser, the Internet is working fine, moreover, a tablet goes to sleep, and after the release of her quickly grasps the network.
But! Only I'm trying to go to the market, after 10-20 seconds the Internet disappears, although the tablet is connected to the network and the icon of wifi active.
The browser also can go to the web, only after off-turn on wifi.
That's the way it looks (at the time of loading the application is missing the Internet, loading stopped by 25%):

Not quite sure what SAD09 is doing here?

Anyone care to clarify?

All info is good info, and I do not want to make a mistake when I do get the W42. Posted Image

You see, the owners of W42 is not much. On 4pda it seems to only 2. Have to look everywhere for answers.
I hope I answered your question?

You could try some of the suggestions here:

I don't know what else to suggest. I downloaded a large game from my upstairs office on the w42 which I would never normally do as it's too far from the router. It downloaded really quickly.

Hi,
The problem with the Internet is still not decided.

UPD.The question is unchecked, the problem was in the wi-fi router.

Yes I will do that, a fast comparison of the ployer momo11 quad with the Ramos W42.
Very easy, Ramos W42, better wifi, better battery life, better build, less weight and a better and great brightness.
In my view, until now, Ramos W42 is one of the best china tabs. Where do you find a device that has it all, great wifi, great brightness, great performance, good build and handling.

Ployer momo11 quad, slightly faster, heavier, but also great, fast no lag and no force closes. Now and then it wants not wake up from sleep, then you have to push the reset button, to boot up.
At last you have to consider that it will not get updates from ployer, because it is still not listed on the ployer website.

I did not notice in the playstore apps I needed, who were not compatible with the ployer momo11 quad or Ramos W42.
Consider I am uncomplicated user, but I think Jezzer will tell the same story, isn't Jezzer?

Yes janesh I can confirm like you that app compatibility is one of the best I have seen in a Chinese tablet. I haven't even had to modify build.prop.

Another SLD subscriber asked a couple of questions about the W42 so I thought I would share my response here...

I am really loving the tablet. Everything is really snappy as per janesh's experience.

Battery life has been pretty good so far. I get between 5 and 6 hours on average which lasts me a couple of evenings sometimes more. The most I have had is just over 7 hours. One issue with the battery is that once it gets below about 35% it drops fairly rapidly so it is non-linear. I suspect this is a firmware issue i.e. the OS reporting the charge incorrectly so I think it could be fixed by a firmware update.

For PDF use I have used it more than any other tablet because it is SO GOOD! It is smooth and fast at rendering and only occasionally pauses to catch up with rendering. It really is better than any other tablet I have used for PDF magazine reading. I like the 16:10 aspect ratio as the page is nice and wide so you don't need to zoom much to read the text although you usually have to scroll down to see a whole page. In the past I had to hunt for a PDF app that gave the fastest rendering but with this tablet I just use Adobe Reader and it is perfect :good:

I just purchased mine from www.buyincoins.com. I have a good friend who has done a lot of business with them buying tablets ...never had an issue.
