I just received the Chewi V99 tablet and I have to say I am pretty impressed.
It has a "RETINA" Class display which really shows itself off in vibrancy, depth of color, and crispness.
This tablet also has all of the specifications of the Windows N90 II Dual Core which is a favorite of mine.
I plan to try to do a video review for this device at some point... but if you have seen my Window N90II review, then use that and add on a higher grade screen.

I understand there's a new quad core version of this tablet utilizing the Allwinner A31 instead of the Rockchip. Is there any possiblity of getting hold of one of these for a comparison test? There seems to be very little difference in price and the new model appears to have a plastic body perhaps to cut costs. Not being able to tryeither, I can't decide which one to get without a little help and I respect your opinion

I only review the items that are sent to me... I doubt i will get the AllWinner version in.
I do have an Onda V812 which has the AllWinner A31 chipset and I can easily say it is comparable to slightly better in performance than the Rockchip RK3066.
The AllWinner chipset still needs a lot of work on efficiency... at least on the Onda V812, but overall it is a very solid chipset and performance.

I am new to this forum, so I cannot start a new topic, therefore excuse me for a little offtopic here - but does anybody have ANY information about CHUWI V19 tablet? It seems to be pretty much the same as V99, but with 1024x768 display (no retina). Looking at the internet I found literally NO information about this tablet (despite that it's being widely sold) - no firmwares, no discussions, nothing. Why? Maybe it's not authentic and just a copy of another device? Which one?
I've bought one from e-bay, the tablet comes with 4.1.1 JB and otherwise would be fantastic, BUT mine came with a strange battery issue - it shuts off, then it's impossible to charge up (stucks in an infinite reboot loop), then the battery shows fully charged, but if I disconnect the charger - it dies in seconds. Also showing the battery fully charged, after rebooting it's again on ZERO! Please someone help!! Any advice? Is it the battery, or an OS issue? Does anybody have any experience? I would be much grateful for any answer!
Before doing anything, I plugged into my pc and saved all the pics into my pc, the tablet was on usb mass storage, I switched off the tablet and when I switch on back again the logo was spinning and spinning and is not booting up at all since.
When I plug the tablet into the computer is detected as external usb hard drive, I unninstall the driver one after another, and when I try to use the driver on the folder adb_files\usbdriver windows says that is not signed and cant install the device.
Please help Im desperate to make my tablet back to work...
