Here are the ones I have found so far. I will organise this like the original RK3066 thread of the same name with tablets by screen size, prices, links to supplier etc. Note: None of these A31 tablets are actually in stock anywhere yet but are on pre-sell. Some vendors are claiming that they will have stock in 1 week...we will see!

Click the links to see the specs.

So, Novo 9 FireWire screen is 10.1 not 9.7?? That will be good news if so... cz the aspect ratio will be 16:10 or 16:9

Good call pseudox

Hopefully this will grow as more information becomes available and the first tablets actually hit the streets.

there's a new one: Colorfly CT972 Q-Vanilla
9.7", 2048×1536 and of course a A31 SoC

and a bit of offtopic: KNC brings out a RK3188 tablet with Retina 9,7" display.

In case you want the latest news about A31/RK3188 devices you should use Chrome with build in translation and now search with google A31四核 or RK3188四核
This is a good site to find out the latest tablets: http://1pad.cn/pad/newpad

Hello,
in the shop androidmall you can search for the topic A31: http://www.androidma...h/result/?q=a31
Afterwards there is a list with actual 8 devices with price using the A31-Chip.

quick question... why do none of those seem to offer built-in bluetooth? isnt there some really cool stuff you can do with "nfc"??? it seems the models that had gingerbread OS had plenty to choose from with bluetooth.... if you had bluetooth for keyboard and hdmi out to a tv or monitor, and you could have yourself a decent little pc system that fits in your pocket! i dunno. either nobody really wants bluetooth, or there is something else going on here.

Hello, guys!

I'm planning to buy my first tablet. I did some research and I was about to buy a Yuandao (Window) N90 (dual core - RK3066) that I found for $146 (with free shipping to my country). But, as you all know, there are these new models equipped with the A31 processors (quad core).
Do you think the prices of the dual core processors based tablets are going to fall (because of the new processors)? Should I wait or buy it now?

Thanks!

Bought momo19 IPS screen and very happy with it so far.

Screen is good and I don't think it would require HD.

Antutu 3.11 scored 12325. Not bad I guess :p

Battery: did 4 hours of WiFi, video and all kind of CPU heavy stuff, down from 100% to 30%.
Wifi was as good as with my PC, despite a metal backplate.

Used SuperUser to remove Chinese bloatware (apk's) from /system/app =@ . Removed Chinese app (other launcher???) from main desktop/launcher. Initially the launcher started lagging a lot (can't understand why) but later it was back to its initial performance. Don't know if it had to update its cache or so. But it felt quiet uncomfortable specially as I had it only for 2 hours :pardon:

Play store proved not a problem. Was able to install all programs I wanted.

What might be a problem is the lack of volume buttons. They are used when in recovery mode and in CWMod etc. (hence useless for this slate AFAIK)

Android 4.1.1 but a promise for 4.2 soon. Hope they keep the promise.

Hope this helps.

Interested in the 9.7" retina display models (Chuwi V99, Ainol Novo9 Spark, Onda V872/871). Do you guys think the GPU on A31 is fast enough to drive the 2048*1536 resolution display? Or are there lots of lag, etc?

Thanks!

Check here maybe.

I am looking for my first 9.7 tablet and I preorder this JXD S908 Vénus model ( 249$ with shipping ).

http://www.jxd.cc/pr...tclassid=009014

( they made PSP clones also ).

Any advice about it ?

They will start shipping next week.

Lol, your reply's a bit late. I've had the A31-based Nextway F9X for around a month now. Firmware it shipped with sucked big time. Constant crashes, etc. Since installing CM10, though, I think it now works just as well as the iPad for general tasks (web surfing, reading, email, etc). For the price I paid and what I use it for, I'm very satisfied with the F9X.

Install the latest 2.0 firmware or CM10. That should improve performance quite a bit.
