I'm excited to see you working on firmware for the Momo7. Is this the standard one or the IPS one (or both)?

Also, I've rooted mine (4.1.1 IPS) and it doesn't seem to have ssh or dropbear installed, is that something you can consider adding, please?

Yes, I am aware there is new firmware (1225) and I have it. I am going to test it soon. I actually made "release 2" firmware but was not thrilled with it so it didn't actually get released ;).

Will be making release 3 this week with hopefully better results.

Regards,

Roman

PS - The two RK3066 powered MoMo 7 devices are BOTH IPS displays. One however is higher resolution (1280x800) vs 1024x600. This firmware is for the latter version, the 1024x600 as the 1280x800 is still not out that I am aware of.

Last firmware official from ployer.cn release : 20121225
http://pan.baidu.com...28&uk=791224118

I look forward to your next custom firmware and hope you made increased space for application (/data partition) to 3 GB, because 2Gb is too small for me

Thank you for your work.

Release 3 is out now and it is based on 1225. This thread is deprecated.

PS.- Sorry, the app partition was only kept at 2 GB. You need to go into the apps menu in system settings and move your apps to your SD card, this will move a lot of data out of that 2 Gb partition and into the other larger partition which android refers to as the "sd card".

I am also interested in getting Release 1. I tried Release 3 but there is an issue with root not working. I know Roman is out of the country this month and would hate to have to wait for another 2-3 weeks. I have looked for other ROMs on other forums and have only been able to find 1. That one roots but it does not spoof so I can not install apps like Chrome :(

If anyone can help out with this ROM or point me to another one that both roots and spoofs I would appreciate it.

Hello Roman,

Would like to know if you still have a copy of this firmware. Currently, I am using your Release 3b which is based on 20121225 firmware and its smooth except it takes 8~10hrs to fully charge (same issue on Stock 20121225 firmware)..

Hope you could help me out... Thanks...
