How to reset this tablet ? Should I put a needle or something thin to mic hole ?

use PhoenixCard to make SDCard flashing, stock 4.04 ROM will be fine. PhoenixCard
yes you will get 0MB internal storage
later, using trick on my previous link to recover partition

there is no hard reset button on Legend, unfortunately

Thanks for your suggestion oery, I have tried phoenixcard method still doesn't boot up. I tried live suit again with 5 different computers and different cable still from 3% goes to 0%. Any other suggestion?

ps. with phoenix card method, there is a bar, after finish filling the bar on the screen, tablet doesn't switch off.

Thanks Oery.... If no hard reset button on Legend, how can I update the firmware ? I always get livesuit and phoenixusbpro error : 0x162 ÉÕдʧ°Ü2.

I think this error because my legend is always in flash mode.

Check the serial number on the backside: A NOVO7LEGEND1211....
This Jelly Bean only work on the pre-1211 Legends.

If I may add a clarification : you can upgrade to Jelly Bean with such a "recent" item, but your Wifi will not work and I am still looking for a way to root it (since the Recovery menu with Jelly Bean ROM is all yellow and no way to choose an option in it )

Strange thing. I have a tab Ainol Legend with : A NOVO7LEGEND121108..... serial and JB installed and WiFi works great everything is ok.

Your Legend came with JB preinstalled or you installed it yourself ?

I have 2 Legends :
1st one SN : A NOVO7LEGEND121108...
2nd SN : A NOVO7LEGEND130108...

I installed JB on each (or I think I did ... at least for the 2nd I did it maybe 5 times ... so I'm sure for this one) and Wifi would never start (set it On ... after few seconds waiting it returns to Off ).

So if JB can be working with same model 121108 (assuming models are really the same in our case. I don't remember what's different between batch 1 pre 11 DEC 2012 and batch 2 ... something with wifi driver or wifi chip ...), then maybe the JB ROM I got is not the right one.

Mine rom is from Futeko. I dont remember but I think At first the WiFi acts like that you said but after several normal restarts and safe mode restart everything works. This ROM is the most stable ever see. No FC no lags everithing smooth.

Installed the futeko version of Jellybean and it worked perfect with live suit. I had a 121108 version and the wifi works perfect. For root access again use the Unlockrootpro to root it to jellybean. The crystal root dont work on jellybean.


There seems to be a wifi fix for everyone but dont know if it works, can someone confirm?

*edit* When you root using the Unlockrootpro and uses windows 7 x64 use these USB-drivers:

They will work fine even if Windows doesn't say so.

Now i have another problem.. My sdcard wont work. I cant copy files to it my tablet wont recognize it with jelly bean installed.

The factory reset loop has to do with busybox being installed in /system/xbin. All that is required is moving busybox to /system/bin. Per example, using adb enter shell and then su. Execute:

mv /system/xbin/busybox /system/bin
reboot

That should do it.

I have Legend with same SN number (A NOVO7LEGEND121108), tryed install JB on it, but always getting stuck on 3% livesuit error 0x162. After few atempts i managed to flash back to ICS from futeko link but now im getting 0 bytes internal storage and factory restore on every reboot.

after that just reboot tablet..TAAADAAAM all your apps and everything is back to normal.

hi guys,
i have a problem with the battery. two days ago i left the tablet on and the battery run out so it was shuted down. When i tried to turn it on nothing happened. I plugged it in the rechager and it turned on. It show me full battery but when i unplug the recharger it turns off. I tried to fix it with battery calibration app but nothing happened.
Any ideas???

I tried with unlockrootPro but got error "Not detected any device".

I'm running it on Win 7 32bit. I activated USB debugging before running unlockrootPro.
I tried with activation of USB memory and without (normally should do without this acvtivation I believe) but nothing helps ...

Then I reinstalled JB with livesuit, changed the language into French, checked the USB debug was on and launched UnlockrootPro ... same error message. Something I'm missing ??

Could this be a problem with the drivers ?
driver references : 6.1.7600.16385 from Microsoft Corporation.

Does it mean I have to install other drivers ?
