I'm hesitant to even ask this online. First I'll quickly ask people not to be daft by suggesting a USB dongle, or asking "why do you want to do this?", or suggesting another tablet. My topic is very specific. It's a technical question, so not a solution for everyone.
So, has anyone seen this done before?
Does anyone have photos of inside the P88? I expect space will be limited so this is the first thing to check. A fully integrated Bluetooth module (chip, antenna etc) is around 20mm x 30mm x 4mm.
What Bluetooth chips are used in other RK3066 tablets? I need to use a compatible one, and this seems like a good way to find one that works. I have got pictures of inside the Hyundai Rock X800 but I haven't identified the Bluetooth chip yet.
If this seems like a goer then I'll be sure to post details of my solution here. I haven't even bought the tablet yet. The other tablet that I'm considering modifying is the Nextway F8.
Cheers
