I'm not sure, according to the instructions, it seems like it's the same way as the older model tablets, even if the files are different....

Is your sdcard formatted FAT32? If not, or if you are still having trouble, do a full format to FAT32, not quick....

I think most of us were misled about this. I'm sure that Zenithink thought they'd have the bugs worked out before they released the tablet for sale. If it's any consolation, neither the Ampe A10 Quad Core or Sanei N10 Quad Core have Jelly Bean yet either at this time.

I have a friend who has ordered the Zenithink C94 and it should be here in a few days. He wanted me to set it up to his specification, and I have ordered an Ampe A10 Quad Core for myself. As soon as I can, I plan to do a full comparative review of the two tablets.
Model Number: Ampe A10 Quad Core Freescale i.MX6Q
OS: Android 4.04
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel version: 3.0.35-02345-g411d6f6-dirty
Build number: 13.4rc2 Ver 1.58b
Running under "CityAceE R1.5 Ver. A"

After many times and days of use of this tablet, I can tell which bugs can be solved next ROM from "Zenithink".

For H8_1a tablets, that have the following on their barcode:
6QC94-8gb-H8-xxxx
SN:xxxxxxxxxx
or
6QC94-8gb-1a-H8-xxxx
SN:xxxxxxxxxx

I hope that these "bugs" will be resolved

- ROM *ROOTED*. (necessary)
- Correct reading of the battery status charge.
- Read and correct allocation of external memory (Real external SDCard)

Maybe there are other bugs, but personally I have not yet seen :good:

I received my Zenithink C94 two days ago. I noticed problem with charging it were the charge went up very slow in the end and the charge displayed when removing charger was completely different. Also I could not download anything from Google Play.

I am now trying to install update 1205_V1.12 for 6QC94-8gb-H8-xxxx model. Currently the update has stopped on

It's now been stuck there for 15 minutes. I will force reboot it in a while. Hope it will start again.

I shut down the tablet by holding the power button, then removed memory card and turned it on again.

It booted up and the new version seems to have installed correctly.

Google Play now works and the battery display seems to be closer to working. Though it still goes up and down a bit when the charger is disconnected.

In which way can you not activate WiFi? In Settings, does the Wi-Fi switch not go from OFF to ON or do you not see any networks?

Hello, Gotling
When I activate wifi in setting panel, the wi-fi switch is blocked on off (you can see the attached capture file).

I tryed a wipe cache and data, and, when i activate the wifi switch, the button is freezing.

Thanks for your Suggest.
I recovered the apk of wifi fixer and test it.

The action to activate wifi is relatively similar.

I push the wifi switch in the application, it indicate that wifi is enabling, after few second, it be disabled.

how can i verify the modele reference of my tablet ?

perhaps i tested wrong versions of firmwares.

That is a good question which I haven't found an answer to. I ripped the serial number of my unit when I got it and threw it away. Before updating I checked the file in the root of the SD Card and figured out I had the H8 version.

Now when you have upgraded that isn't of much help..

I think I have seen users which have installed the wrong firmware and than just installed the other one, so that might work.

Hello,

I have same wifi problem after upgrading in ZT285_H8_1a_1GB_Android4.0_1205_V1.12.zip.

I found this link with 4 firmware différent for c94.

i found equally a CyanogenMod 10.1 ** ALPHA for cortex a9.

do you think i can install this version using the upgrade integrated function in this tablet.

In case of error, will it be possible to put the constructor firmware ?

Thank for your responses.
