ro.build.description= change Asus back to nakasi
ro.build.fingerprint= change Asus back to Google
ro.product.board= change back to rk30sdk (you shouldn't ever change this!)
Note: i can't promise this will fix anything
Thanks! I found the build.prop which is similar to what you stated. Facebook is still incompatible though.

The damn thing, even rooted and with the Google apps copied from the official release, with the build.prop edited for Samsung Galaxy S2 and still does not want to consider compatible apps like Facebook.

Have you try market enabler?

Change the build prop to GS3 tmobile version.
Which apps are you talking about btw? Almost every apps showed on mine after I changed it to GS3. Even Nova 3, which runs very well on it. Better than it did on Fire.

Could you post your build.prop somewhere? Or even the text here would help.

I see. My build.prop is spoofing as Asus Nexus 7. Looks like I should spoof as Galaxy S3 instead.

Nope, did not work. Which firmware version are you using? I'm on Oct. 26th version when doing this modifications.

I would suggest using a download manager like flashget to get the file, it takes for ever. Or you could get here, I just uploaded it: http://wtrns.fr/m7HRz7oH3938Vbg
Should be reasonably faster and more reliable

But newer firmwares instead of improving compatibility are actually destroying it.
