Thanks! I found the build.prop which is similar to what you stated. Facebook is still incompatible though.

RockChip drivers, you can find them in the package with rocktool on the topnotchtablets website.

The damn thing, even rooted and with the Google apps copied from the official release, with the build.prop edited for Samsung Galaxy S2 and still does not want to consider compatible apps like Facebook.

Have you try market enabler?
I now have a new problem, the orientation sensor is all mess up. It's off by 90 degree counter clockwise.

how are you connected? to use a script your Device needs to be on and have Developer Mode Enabled witin settings

Market enabler doesn't seem to work. Editing build.prop should work but somehow a lot of apps are incompatible.

Change the build prop to GS3 tmobile version.
Which apps are you talking about btw? Almost every apps showed on mine after I changed it to GS3. Even Nova 3, which runs very well on it. Better than it did on Fire.

Nope, did not work. Which firmware version are you using? I'm on Oct. 26th version when doing this modifications.

There is a new firmware, dated Nov. 8th, already downloaded it. Will install tonight and check play store compatibility and rooting.

I have installed it, good news is that rooting still works. Bad news is that market compatibility is same as previous version, almost no games. Something is very strange, Yuandao claims over 90% of EA, Gameloft games work on it's tablets. Or at least that's what I understand from pictures and text on their website.
But newer firmwares instead of improving compatibility are actually destroying it.

Or modify build.prop
