UPDATE 22 January 2013: Ployer no longer list this tablet on their website but you can find it on Aliexpress (thanks for the heads up janesh).

e.g. here or here.

I would be wary in case Ployer no longer support it.

Looks really good! Hopefully has strong WiFi signal.

*MINIX NEO X5 (RK3066) - OK. Not fun because uses mouse cursor.
*YUANDAO N80 DUAL (RK3066) - Very good
*CUBE U30GT (RK3066)- Defective; buttons broke in 2-3 weeks; Bad quality control!!! I will never buy a Cube again!!! - Very good while working
*WOPAD I7 (RK2918)- About OK. Sluggish because has weaker ARM chip (RK2918) & less RAM (512 MB).

I am thinking to sell my Ainol novo 10 hero ii, and buying this one. I am a bit disappointed about the performance of the hero ii.
If the momo 11 is almost as good as my ployer momo12, and a bit faster, it can be a top device.
On order, nothing, and am i am finished with Chinese cpu's, i prefer my exynos devices.

Hi Jezzer,

Your link does not work anymore, number 26 is not listed on ployer.cn anymore, while on aliexpress several sellers offer this tablet.
Interesting tablet, but i am afraid, ployer will not support this tablet, btw to JB.

Hi janesh,

Thanks for the heads up, I will remove the link. Strange that people are selling the tablet but Ployer seem to have changed their minds about it.

They seem to be focussing more on their upcoming Allwinner A31 tablets:

Momo18 - 8 inch IPS (1024 x 768, 4:3). 4000maH battery.
Momo19 - 9.7 inch IPS Retina (2048 x 1536, 4:3). 8000maH battery. EDIT: May not be retina after all.
Momo20 - 10.1 inch IPS (1280 x 800, 16:10). 8000maH battery.

I pulled the trigger for the momo 11 quad, hope i will receive it next week.

5000 mAh battery is not large but probably it will last 5-6 hours just like the ramos w30hd, and i hope ployer will update this device to JB.

I noticed, the number of sellers on aliexpress is increasing, so perhaps there will be support from ployer for this interesting device.

Yes there are more listed on Aliexpress today than yesterday. Maybe Ployer are revamping their web page for the launch of the quad?

5000maH might be ok as I was getting 5-6 hours average use from the Ramos W30HD with a 5400 maH battery & retina screen. The non retina display of the ployer momo11 quad should help with battery and the lower resolution should also give stellar performance.

I await your review with interest. Where did you buy from?

i bought from here on aliexpress Jezzer, and what you said, my thoughts, 5000 mAh with 1024*768 compared with 5400 mAh and 1920*1200 of the ramos w30hd, i think battery life will be the same or a bit more.

i will post my experience here, hope it will be next week as my seller promised.

Hallo, I am new here,
I have a MOMO 11 with the Quad core xynos 4412. battery is lasting around 4.5 hours running video with the screen near full brightness.
This tab is very responsive, no hangers and very fast. Screen good, colour rendition too.
Sound on speakers not really satisfying but put that down to price and speaker location. On my Senneheisers the sound is pretty good, no hissing or other noises
which I had experienced on another cheaper tab.
Finish looks very elegant and the casing feels stable. My sd extension memory was recognised very quickly and is read and writeable. WIFI is not
brilliant reception wise but is still acceptable with two walls in between.

I have asked MOMO on the matter of support for this device, it will be interesting to see if they answer.

My tab was bought from oDa Versand aus Deutschland through amazon. All my questions were answered very quickly prior to my order. The first box arrived empty
as the content was stolen during transportation. I sent an E mail with photoś of the empty box, was offered money back but requested the ordered goods.
Two days later the replacement tab arrived.

Hi herold,

Thanks for your initial thoughts on the momo11 quad.

Would be interested to hear how the battery is after a few charges & also for mixed usage on normal screen brightness.

Could you also please run a few benchmarks? Antutu, GL benchmark, quadrant, Tajii.

Does the wifi support 150mbps connection speed? Also, can you check using wifi analyser app to quantify the signal strength near the router compared to further away in - dbm.

Sorry for all the questions, hope you don't mind.

Thanks
Jez

Indeed, I got him this morning, fastest android device I tested so far.
Antutu, 16538, Vellamo, HTML5 1288 and Metal 561.
Wifi is much better as momo8 IPS, slightly less as momo12.
I got -58 dBm with wifi analyzer, 6 mtr from router and through armed concrete floor.
No range extender needed in my house, but there are divices with better wifi reach, as V812, P88 and Yuandao vido 80IPS.
Screen is good, not so bright as momo12, which is very bright.
Well build, and full market available. Got to work now.

Cheers

Thanks for the update janesh. First impressions seem excellent :good:

Would be interested in how the battery stacks up after a few recharges and also can it connect to wifi at 150Mbps?

Also, looking at some photos of the speaker holes and general design on the Momo11 quad it looks very similar to the Voyo Q909 (see HERE) EDIT: and the Freelander PD80 Vogue (see HERE). I wonder if they are the same tablet made in the same factory produced for Ployer, Voyo, Freelander and possibly others?

Cheers

Hallo to all
does anyone know if this device is affected by the root security exploit for the Exynos processor.
http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2057818 gives quite a lot of info.
I am not advanced enough in how android works to be able to give an answer but will be very careful installing extra apps
for the time being.

@ Jez I tried to check the wifi speed but ran into limitations on the only access point we have at home, the battery is getting
the third charge today. I will do a timed discharge with general use after 5+ charge discharge cycles.
My benchmarks corelate with those already published so will not repeat.

I would expect it to be affected. That's good in a way because it means you can use ExynosAbuse (link HERE) to root it (this worked for me when I used it on the Ramos W30HD). janesh can you confirm it works on the Momo11? By the way an alternative rooting method for the Ramos is described HERE...this may also work on the Momo11 although obviously I haven't tried it.

Oke Jezzer, ExynosAbuse works, I have the Momo11 quad rooted.

Have to say another time, very fast tablet, running faster, with no lag as RK3066 and A31. The last twoo suffer frequent from lag, loading a web page, what is for me pretty annoying. Seems to me the exynos have not this trouble. He can handle better twoo things at the same time, compared with RK3066 and A31, i.e. incoming mail and loading a webpage at the same time.
Also video playback is a bit better as RK3066, and the sound of the Momo11 quad is good.

To summarize, very good device, so far very satisfied and I am curious how it will run on JB, if this will ever happen.

Btw, I ordered a Ramos W42 too, hope it will shipped tomorrow with DHL.

Edit, yes Jez, with my wifi range extender it is connect to wifi at 150 Mbps.

Nice one thanks for checking :good:

It sounds excellent, thanks for all the information janesh. I cancelled my Onda V972 order after reading some of the feedback here. So far I am not that impressed by the Allwinner A31, although I do like the look of the Ibex Flytouch 10 or Chuwi v10 (I do still prefer the 10.1 inch screen form factor).

Btw, I ordered a Ramos W42 too, hope it will shipped tomorrow with DHL.

Interesting; that's the other Exynos tablet I have had my eye on :yahoo: I really liked the look of the Pipo M8 but decided against any more RK3066 tablets and the Ramos W42 has a similar vibe and 16:10 screen like a 10.1 inch tablet, although I am a bit disappointed that it only has 1Gb RAM. I think all quad core tablets should come with 2Gb RAM as standard. Then again the benchmarks posted on the W42 thread by venome don't look too shabby lol.

Edit, yes Jez, with my wifi range extender it is connect to wifi at 150 Mbps.

Thanks for confirming this. It's another little detail that many manufacturers miss out but which makes, for example, streaming HD movies over my LAN much easier.

Cheers
Jez
