This ROM is 100% the work of nobe1976. I'm posting this thread to help Hannspad users install it but I have nothing to do with the development. All your thanks should go to nobe1976 and TeamDRH. I will only Support my Installation Instructions
I have tested it with my own Hannspad with these
exact instructions.

Installation Instruction.
You must be on BL 1.2 and have a 250mb System partition with CWM ver. 5.5.0.4
You must know how to back up your existing system. That is only being said once
Boot into Recovery and do a Nandroid Backup
Wipe data/factory reset
Partition Internal SD to 2048/0 then to 4096/0 in Advance settings A MUST
Download Rom and Place on internal storage
Install Package
My Update Script will do the rest
First Boot will take longer then Normal
Its just building all the Goodness
Complete initial setup
AND HOLD ON TIGHT

As for the kernel

I used the kernel from here: [JB] Kernel for TeamDRH 5.3 alpha ROM

I have found that its best to keep the build.prop that came with the rom.

I have found one problem with the Kernel and this rom: When changing wallpaper. It does not save. It reverts back to default!!!!
However if using live wallpaper it saves.

Thanks for getting this posted up Geezmister. It's a nice rom and it's also interesting as it runs on a 250mb partition.

Having tried both I'm not sure there's a huge amount in it. None of the JB roms work perfectly but both Smoothbean and paranoid are pretty good. I tried paranoid on a 350mb system partition over the weekend and ran into a few stability issues.

ParanoidAndroid works flawlessly for me...
i could not get any of the hannspad kernals to work right with it so im just using softkeys which is fine as my nexus7 does not have any keys so im used to it
i did try it first on a 250mb partition & a light gapps but i could not get google now working properly so i flashed a 350mb partition & the full gapps & now everything works fine
i also have ParanoidAndroid on my nexus7

i did try this rom the other day but the mic did not work & i could not get contacts, maps or google now to work im sure if i kept fiddleing i could have figured it out but i seen the ParanoidAndroid thread & tryed that & i havnt look back

Good to see a new set of JB ROMS for the Hannspad. I've been running the TeamDRH version for the last few months and found it to be perfectly good for day to day usage. Heven't flashed anything for a while though so itching to give these a go.

Managed to install Paranoid Android yesterday. It flies. You do have to install the latest gApps for the market to work, but it didn;t take too long to do.

One problem I do get is that the status bar at the bottom is a different dpi to the rest of the screen. I am aware that you can change this in PA but it doesn't seem to save the changes. Maybe a kernal issue?

I have the same small issue here with the bottom bar. Also the menu button doesn't do anything in Play Store, except make a noise. Using Graveen's 1.2b kernal

Graveen's kernel replaces the build.prop of any rom you use. It's not a problem for most roms but could be for smootbean or paranoid. I've created a more minimal kernel package which only adds the main kernel, sensor info and cap keys. My thinking being that I've never had trouble running pure g-tab roms so I wanted to replace as little as possible when flashing a hannspad kernel. I'll post the link to it today.

i running this rom since few days with the graveen's kernel 1.2B everything work almost fine and smooth :-) so thanks for the good work done to make it work :-). But i have a problem when playing video. it seems that the hardware decoding don't work. I use mx player and it only work with the software decoding.

Does anyone else also have this ? does it related to jelly bean ? (was previously on an ics rom and the hardware decoding was working well).

I've tried it out with paranoid and everything worked ok as far as I could tell but it's not been tested beyond that.

Booting now on SmOoTh_BeAn_4.1.1

Try Dice player, works good for me. Smooth video playback on Smoothbean
Watch out with playing audio. Sound is very loud thru the headset. You must turn down volume and then play a file, almost lost my hearing ;-)

thanks for the tips. But i just tried with dice player and no luck it still only accept to read video with the software decoder :-(

Most roms caused problems playing Youtube in HD, normal resolution (SD) allways worked with every rom I tried.
This is one of the few roms that plays youtube both in HD, HQ en normal just fine, by the way I use the light kernel.

So just to sum up my findings on this rom together with the light kernel.
The Good:
- HD vid works in Dice player with Hardware acceleration.
- Youtube plays all qualities from HD to SD smooth.
- Boot seems a little faster then other roms.
- the feel of the rom is smooth (sure there is a little lag every now and then..)

The not so good: (I try to be possitive :-))
- When I use the tablet and lock the screen the unlock screen is scrambled but it unlocks never the less just have to quess where the unlock button is.
- audio on headset is extreem loud I think if I wanted to I could blowup my headset.
- audio stutters from time to time but only for a few seconds so no real problem for me.
- most games do not seem to work but I'm no gamer so again no problem for me.
