Thanks for the main effort done by Marqui & Anix, Feiyu only responsible for the compilation of the Kernel. (For QM Panel)

How about the patch:
It change the maximum backlight PWM frequency to 16217Hz to eliminate the mosquito noise.

How to apply the patch:
Similar to the rom update, just flash the patch in Recovery.

Patch for Feiyu 0930 Rom / Rom based on Feiyu 0930:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/kye3o1

Patch for other Roms (Except CM and Official 0921 Rom):
http://www.sendspace.com/file/0lgmjw

P.S. Someone reported that it is also work for official 0921 Rom, just try for your own risk.

Sorry for my bad English.

Is there a possibility of an UNDO patch just in case this does detrimental damage down the line after a few days, so that people can UNDO before the damage hits.

Just reflash your original ROM to undo.

Hit a roadblock as I am unable to repack the boot.img using Mattias's script.

error: Initfs is too big

My linux skills are limited so have to wait a while until I figure out what is wrong. In theory it should work.

I'm using original Rom 0910qm, this Rom is not available for download anywhere, is there a way to back my full ROM up myself?

Please, this is the third version of this patch I can see in a couple of day...
For the sake of semplicity, for Flambe v15.f 2 gbyte data particion, which version I must flash?

I just saw this "fire-fix-noise.zip" in 1Gbyte and 2Gbyte version.

I guess part of using customs ROMs mean that you have to read and follow threads.

That said. You need to use the file on the first link which is for 0930 feiyu since flambé is based on that.

Then wait for a new Flambe release - assuming it will be incorporated there. That's always the easiest way.

One thing about bleeding-edge software is that it's bleeding-edge: things change quite often. Don't expect complete and fully tested software here, with a properly documented release once per month. The only guarantee you'll get is "it didn't break my Fire .. yet". No offense to the developers - I really do appreciate your efforts a lot.
