Again Warning: The use of non-flames version of cwm recovery will result in touch screen failure

* Fix package unproven touch failures only friend test
* Do not touch intact friends random testing at your peril
* Still can not fix please Depot

How to use:

* Will be compressed within the two files are copied to the the tf card root directory
* Turned off, press and hold the power and volume down button to enter recovery
* Manually select the brush into the fire-tp-fix.zip
* Access to the system, a few minutes after the restart confirmation effect

[Edit2] I bricked my touch again by accidentally flashing Crystal stock rom,.. and re-fixed using above fix!..

why is this thread so underrated? I thought that there is a lot of "dead touch" victim here? but now seems like everyone got so quiet with it...

is it that actually there is not much ppl having the dead screen, and speculation went around like crazy? or is it that you guys send the tab out for a replacement already?

The fix dead screen is for people who messed with firmwares (like me), i havn't seen someone affected by a dead touchscreen a few days after receiving it having said that it works... or maybe those people have sent back their fire as Mr Splodge said.

This fix worked perfectly for my dead Fire touchscreen too, (admittedly I caused the problem in the first place by trying to install Ubuntu on it). I was about to send it off for repair so I'm really grateful. Definitely worth pinning this thread to save others who have hit this problem when messing around with ROMs.

This fix didn't helped with my case, when after turning on WiFi i cannot turn off screen, because after wake up touchscreen it totally not responding.
