{EDIT - 10/29/2012}
***Please do not use my method unless you're comfortable bricking it. I am not an experienced developer. I am just a foolishly brave guy that doesn't mind bricking on my adventure down the road to knowledge.***
I meant this to be more for folks that can get out of any brick and those who wanted to give it one last try. The end goal here is to gather enough info for a seasoned developer to go on when they find the time to either port or start from scratch.

Yep. I got 'er done. Here's a post where I explained, to the best of my memory, how I did it minus all the dumb mistakes I made along the way.
Thanks!

Could I get some folks who are brave and/or know how to recover from brick to test this out and let me know if it works for them as well and if I'm forgetting any steps?
Thanks!
