All looking good on my Pipo U1 now after the latest upload. Thanks for that.

I'd give another vote for the stock keyboard. I find the programmer's one great for ConnectBot but it would be handy to be able to switch to a simpler one when I'm not using it! A real bonus would be to have the Stock Android keyboard from 4.2 with the swipe built-in. I use this on my Nexus 4 and it feels like a real step back to the Pipo with all that tapping again...

just found a problem with V7 on U1. after connecting to A/C power, the power indicator does not show that it is charging

I have performed the follwing steps to upgrade V7:
1.Wipe data/factory reset
2.Wipe dalvik cache(advanced)
3.Wipe battery stat(if you fill battery % not accurate)
4.Format /system (mounts and storage)

Yes it happening on my u1 also it has to be the framework-res.apk ir systemui.apk that has diffrent than the pipo max m1 fw that is the base of generick v7 not sure what coul be causing that

Thnx darkrickpr for this mod. I can tell it works on GoClever R83.2 tab with some bugs:
- brightness control doesn't work (neither sliders nor auto)
- "clear all notifications" button work like "settings" (settings also work like settings)
- why is wifi signal meter yellow (rather then blue, like clock/battery)?

Everything else seems to work (not hard-tested though).

How about some suggestions?
Battery icon with %, power menu with "restart/recovery/download" menu, i miss the Menu button by Home/Back/Recent buttons, but I don't like Vol Up/Down nor Screenshot buttons there..

I am having major issues with my U1 Pro and bluetooth... Whenever I listen to music over bluetooth (from my U1 to my stereo), and I want to to something else at the same time - the music "skips". That is, the bluetooth transfer is chopping/lagging, as if the tab isn't powerful enough to both stream via bluetooth and browse a webpage at the same time :S

Anyone else with this issue?

pls help. i install the v7 on my U1 and it works.. the only problem is i cant connect my usb data cable. there's a USB CONNECTED in the notification but nothings happening

could you please give me an off-topic information:
I have extracted the system.img from an rk3066-firmware.img. Is there a way to unpack and pack this system.img in windows without any big knowledges like hexediting or so ? I tried unyaffs-x86-win but it did not do the job.

Nop, you have to use linux to open the system.img
