Btw, i dont see any download link for generick mod v7, or is it just me?

Yep your fine is just I haven't release the v7 yet and it should work on you aoson if v6 is working

if i am reading it correctly it was uploaded just this jan 23 2013. it is for pro though, but my tablet is U1 (not pro)

so if you are making a custom for U1(not pro) is that included? just curious.

Version 7 has not been released and given that the changelog for it has been up in post 1 for weeks now with no upload appearing perhaps darkrickpr should remove it until he's actually ready to upload the rom as it's confusing people.

I'm trying v7 on my u1. One problem I have is that I cannot get into settings. It just stops. Otherwise looking good.

Yes, I've just updated my Pipo U1 (not Pro) and have the same problem with a crash getting into Settings.

I've done a full wipe, formatted the System partition and even tried wiping the Cache partition and the Dalvik Cache after a couple of boots to see if it helped. Is there anything else I can do to help you diagnose this problem?

you just have to tweak the build.prop has density 120 or 140 .... according to taste .... 160 icons are very large.

You can change dpi with romtoolbox includes in the rom for your taste because the s1 is 800x600 that's why you see icons big. Another thinvis the playstore show many apps like gameloft etc
