Battery calibration unsuccessfull - remains at 100%

Hi,
after 2 weeks of a perfectly running, rooted device I encountered my device's message "only 15% remaining...bla". Few secs later, the indicator jumped right at 100%.
Of course I read otheres have (had?) the same problem, so I tried the app battery calibration. But no effect.Still indicating 100%.
Once, it said all of a sudden 60something % for a short while, then jumped again to 100%.
Does anyone have suggestions?
PS: running version 4.0.3

Upgrade to 4.0.4, root then use Battery Calibration. 4.0.3 is really bad and lags a lot. 4.0.4 is much smoother

It worked for me too. I only had to steps 1-4 and it was solved.

I wanted to upgrade but didn't really find much postigs reporting of enhancements.
As I don't see any bugs anymore (after Google play xml-fixes) I'll stay at 4.0.3
