you're not given a number, only data
are you guys sure about this?
I read Samsung Galaxy Tab users now can use their device to call as well, due to a hack in the system.
If I'm not wrong new Galaxy Tab 2 has this feature enabled on stock rom.
Android ICS (and JellyBean as well) were developed with this feature on.
I'm asking this because I found some Ampe A10 3G devices and vendors say they can make phone calls as well.
Shouldn't it be the same for Pipo M2 3G? Any experiences?

you have to flash to euro firmware. you lose 3g but gain phone calls. so not worth it.

not true. Galaxy Tab works like a charm with this mod:

and again, ICS natively supports phone calls, even on tablets.
New Galaxy Tab 2 does phone calls even on stock rom.

essentially it is possible! you need to add a working phone app. This should be the biggest problem.
PLS take a photo when you use your Tab as phone

Considering there's only 3 devs here and none of them have a 3g model, your chance of getting a phone port over to the max m1 is none.

It's because you need to take a firmware that has the phone function and port the entire firmware over. Or if you can find which portions uses the phone function, you can port that over. Porting specific functions that are not designed for that unit has many problems.
