Just bought me an mini usb to usb host adapter.( one was not added)
For some reason it doesn't seem to work. It works
on my other tables and devices, but the with the Vi40 DC it doesn't.
Anyone else have this problem, is there yet an other reason why it fails?

Thank for the quick reply sas007.
I'm running 1.4, that shouldn't be the problem, right?

If it's an adapter, it will not work with Vi40 DC! You need to have OTG cable (male mini-USB to female-USB A). There's difference between standard usb adapter(male mini-USB to female-USB A) and same type OTG cable (pin 4&5 shortened). I'm using this one:http://www.onda-tablet.com/onda-vi10-vi20w-vi30-vi30w-vi40-vx580w-vx610w-usb-otg-host-cable.html And, everything works (3G dongle, Ethernet adapter, mouse, keyboard, etc.). IMO, it's not FW issue.

Right, that explains it.
Thank for the tip, evertoexcel.
Hopefully there is an OTG adapter available instead of an flappy dongle.
