Feiyu posted new 1005 rom, based on 4.0.4 source.
List of changes- translation:

Changelog:

*HDMI compatibility improvements
*CPU the highest frequency up to 1.5
*GPU the highest frequency up to 400
* Tackle touch issues
*ROM expansion 2G
* Add mcs7830 USB network connection support
* Media Player subtitle enhancements
* Integrated the previous version of the WiFi patch
* Fix the camera switching buttons bug
* Fixed hide notification bar state bug
* Fix a nuclear power plant

There is also a patch to reduce back the cpu speed to normal 1.32GHz (maybe causing heat/unstable for some).
GPU frequency also interesting, I read that previously on aurora it was set to 333, this rom/kernel bring it up to 400 inline with the specs.

1.32GHz kernel patch

This update will wipe data AND internal SD -so backup ppl, feiyu changed partition layout, hence the ~2GB storage on rom, previously it was ~1GB.

FULL UPDATE:

PLUS PACK FOR EVERYONE!

All Four Editions:
Change battery meter to circle with numbered percentage
Improve status bar icons for home, recent, and menu
Add auto-correct functionality for English language
Replace Chinese boot animation
Change fingerprint to Nexus 7 (just like DS Rom)
Significant improvement to scroll sensitivity
Optimized WIFI Supplicant
Add toggle app to easily hide/show status bar
Add ES File Manager
Add Super_SU to give user control over superuser access
3G icon hidden by default

Here are the four customized versions to choose from, so you can pick your favorite:
Original, with 1.32 GhZ patch, and soft volume buttons
With 1.32 GhZ patch, and NO volume buttons
Full 1.5 GhZ, and soft volume buttons
Full 1.5 GhZ, and NO volume buttons

Please note that the 1.5 GhZ versions will set the firmware to run at 1.5 GhZ, even if you have previously installed the 1.32 patch.
Just pick your preferred version, copy it to your external SD Card, and flash. DOES NOT WIPE DATA! This is just an update.

Also, please note that if you do not install this immediately after flashing Feiyu ROM, you might need to clear data for Google Play, and Google Services Framework, to avoid problems with downloading apps in Google Play. This is because of the fingerprint change.

As always, my definition of original is, "I've forgotten where I got it."

Looks interesting.
Especially the 2GB SD.
I guess this is a new (modded) kernel.
So now we can finally have OC for aurora II, perhaps a 'downgrade' is in order, I'm tired of all the sound problems on JB based roms.

I lol'd
- on that note, does anyone have any clue as to what that could mean in none-engrish?

Cheers, 'aka' its just BS. ^_^
Basically we can conclude that the physical laws do not govern how an Aurora II works, it functions outside of our 3 dimensions.
Because i see this rom being higher clocked, both in CPU and GPU, and then i'm suppose to believe that it will produce less heat :p ?
Bwaahahaha, But joking aside, this rom does look promising.

I don't think that will produce less heat when its clocked at 1.5ghz, maybe a little less at 1.32, feiyu lowers the voltage in his roms (never says how much btw), but low voltage doesnt seems to do much difference with tis SoC

Want to update your firmware? (Instructions here.) First of all: make a backup of your stock firmware, and write down its version name/number (QM or TM?).

Here is how to check your system details. Modify the language settings, if you have Chinese after the update.

Alight gentlemen, it's time to cannabalize this ROM for its CPU and GPU speed increase, improved touch sensitivity, and higher storage capacity.

This + CM10 Jelly Bean and we're swimming.

I was just testing the feiyu's ROM released a bit earlier and it was really great. Hopefully, this one will be even better :)

Just installed this and overall I'm pretty impressed. The tablet does seem to feel more responsive and a game that previously had no audio now has the audio working, albeit with the odd crackle. However tunein radio pro is reporting as incompatible, does anyone know of a guide that explains exactly what needs changing in build.prop to spoof the nexus 7 the same way DSv24 does?

Flashed this ROM some 8 hours ago and I must say it is the best ROM thus so far for me.

I am no gamer though...  I have been using it with performance since and I am indeed very impress with the lightning fast response.

Downloading from the original site took me about 15 minutes. Flashing is fully automatic and rather smooth and fast too.

Have yet to encounter any hiccup except TuneIn Radio failed to install.

Cheers!

Edit - TuneIn Radio installed from downloaded apk, works!
