Pipo m2/1/3 keyboard always back to default after reboot

Hello guys, have you guys noticed the keyboard keeps on reverting to the default keyboard after reboot?
I am trying to use swiftkey but I am guessing that is an android issue rather than a swiftkey issue?

I use Hacker's Keyboard on my M1 and it's been on there for over a month without disappearing any time I power off.
