Pipo is not as sleek, but has smooth edges, no glass on edge to easily break if you drop it.
So m2 for sure for me.

Hi
You mention the glass. I have seen it reported that it was slightly raised on the model without 3g, giving a non beveled edge ..indicating a possible issue.
Is it the same on the 3g model, and if yes ...do you see it as a problem or objectionable?
Thanks.

I bought a Pipo M2 3g and was wondering if anyone could confirm if they are having a similar problem.
When I switch the screen off using the power button, so not powering the device down, just into standby, after about an hour the device seems to switch off and requires a reboot to switch it back on.
If anyone could confirm if they are having the same (or dont have the same) problem Id really appreciate it as it determines if I send it back to China for a refund or replacement!!
Would welcome any help!

Perhaps try another ROM before sending it back?

Thanks for letting me know! thats awesome, I was wondering if anybody else in the world had the same tablet - not as popular as an ipad so harder to get support :-), if you dont have the same problem then I may have just got a bad unit, so might go for an exchange!
Tried the "Decontaminated" ROM v2.2, exactly same behavior. (and took me ages to figure out how to install it!)

I'd ask around a bit more on other forums... To see if anyone has that experience and a solution. The rom you've tried is the one I use!

I'd say decontaminated 2.2 as it fixed gmaps /earth issues for me.
