I have bought the tablet from www.spemall.com. Is it worth to send it back or should I keep it? Is there possible to change it for a new one or for them to fix it? Do you know if it's possible to never get it back if you send it to be fixed? Is there anyone who bought something from this site and then had to return it?

Pipo M2 is a better tablet no question. MUCH better sound and microphone, no issues with wifi cutting out or needing restarting frequently, better screen, and mine has 3g... I gave my n90-II to my mother... With detailed instructions on how to fix the wifi problem.
Pipo is not as sleek, but has smooth edges, no glass on edge to easily break if you drop it.
So m2 for sure for me.

Hi

You mention the glass. I have seen it reported that it was slightly raised on the model without 3g, giving a non beveled edge ..indicating a possible issue.

Is it the same on the 3g model, and if yes ...do you see it as a problem or objectionable?

Thanks.

Hi

I bought a Pipo M2 3g and was wondering if anyone could confirm if they are having a similar problem.

When I switch the screen off using the power button, so not powering the device down, just into standby, after about an hour the device seems to switch off and requires a reboot to switch it back on.

If anyone could confirm if they are having the same (or dont have the same) problem Id really appreciate it as it determines if I send it back to China for a refund or replacement!!

Would welcome any help!

Hi, I don't have that issue.
Perhaps try another ROM before sending it back?

Thanks for letting me know! thats awesome, I was wondering if anybody else in the world had the same tablet - not as popular as an ipad so harder to get support :-), if you dont have the same problem then I may have just got a bad unit, so might go for an exchange!

Tried the "Decontaminated" ROM v2.2, exactly same behavior. (and took me ages to figure out how to install it!)

Hmmm, odd.

I'd ask around a bit more on other forums... To see if anyone has that experience and a solution. The rom you've tried is the one I use!

I'd say decontaminated 2.2 as it fixed gmaps /earth issues for me.

TopnotchTablets because they are uk based and flash any new firmware before delivery. Price is a bit more but worth it for peace of mind.

My M2 was delivered today. A couple of things. The volume down button appears not to work, not a major issue as its possible to lower the volume other ways. The other point, I tried two sims but can't get 3g to work, does it have to be set up somehow or should it just work?

Also found the Menu button doesn't work. Do I need this to enter the APN settings? I thought I read you had to hit the menu button after entering the APN settings.
