frnds , I have few queries here-
1)can rooting cause permanent breakdown of the tablet ?
2) is warranty covered on a rooted device ?
3) can i roll it back to its original state ?

1. No, it just adds an SU binary and the SuperUser app to control it. I believe the SU binary may be what causes segmentation faults (freezing/lag) in the settings -> apps menu though.
2. Warranty is usually not covered on a rooted device but you can also usually unroot easily. Many root apps have options in the settings for unrooting.
3. If you have a batch 3 Crystal you can not roll back to a completely original state because Ainol hasn't released the firmware yet.

i don't get it. even though i've installed soulgem custom rom on my ainol crystal device it still can't run gameloft games.

i can't believe this is happining to me....

is there anyone who could help me to solve this problem? i really wannna play asphalt 7 e modern combat on my crystal tab

Not all games work with the fingerprints available to us. The SGS2 fingerprint is better for some apps and the Nexus 7 fingerprint is better for others. I'm going to start testing out a tenderloin fingerprint soon because I can run pretty much anything on my HP Touchpad. I can't comment on those specific games though. I remember getting NFS running well on my ROM but I can't remember if it was Asphalt 6 or 7 that was working.

With crystal_clear rom and sgs2 fingerprint gameloft games run for me. I have tried the free hyundai racing from gameloft on playstore

hi i need two things for my ainol crystal

1) i want to save the apps in the external sd i have a 32gb micro sd

2) how to change 1.5ghz to 1.2 ghz

Hi guys,

sorry for asking this, probably stupid question, but english is not my main and I'm not sure if I understood correctly.

I'm new in android world, yesterday I ordered Crystal, going for it tommorow. Now I'm reading about batches, kernels, bricks and don't know what to think, should I take it or leave it.

All i want is to have Google Play Store compability, nothing more, if I understood it right is enough to make a root, fake it as other device and this modyfication won't crack my tablet? Doesn't matter what version it is? Only applaying custom roms can brick device?

Dear members,

I recently got a ainol novo 7 crystal tablet. few days before I flash Aurora rom on it. during flashing it returns an error. and my original rom gone. now it starts with black and white display. I try to search jelly bean 4.1.1 or its updated rom but can not find any where. Can you plz help me to fix this problem. Now, my tablet is not going to flash process using Power -button.
Plz guide me.

There is no official ROM for 121208. It was never released and may not be. See the multiple threads on Batch 3 Crystals and the ROM compatibility trace thread.

Yes, it's a batch 2 not a batch 3. See compatibility trace threads or "get started" guide.
