I am unable to flash a "clean" update right now because I have a TM fire and there are no unofficial firmware releases for it yet.
Oh and I'm using Dolphin Browser to browse the web and Quickpic to manage my pics and vids

My today's favourite would be OfficeSuite Pro for £0.25.
Good deal

That looks like another "essantial" app to have.
I installed it but I still can't figure out what app is the weather app.

Make sure to use the backup and delete option so in case you deleted the wrong app you can simply use your backup file for it

I used the "disable" function at first to figure out what app it was. It turned out to be the "calendar" app.
Now that I knew what app it was I, like you suggested, chose the backup and uninstall function. Works great!

It's nice, but cannot rotate pages.
BTW: is there any Android version for LibreOffice?

Ainol Novo 7 Fire
Want to update your firmware? (Instructions here.) First of all: make a backup of your stock firmware, and write down its version name/number (QM or TM?).
AML Flash tool user guide. (Not enough? Click here.)
Here is how to check your system details. Modify the language settings, if you have Chinese after the update.

Keyboard:
Go keyboard ( This is the only keyboard I've found that has chinese input while still having split keyboard). The others I've found either have really tiny text or do not support split keyboards.
perfect keyboard support splitting layout. I do recommend it. When split, keyboard is a tiny smaller but still usable with ease.

It would be great editing images after using the back camera.

I've tried but whenever I open flash content from facebook I get asked to install flash. Tried to install a flash apk from xdevelopers but I just get a "not installed" message. Also tried deleting the pre-installed flash version (0930FeiyuTM) first but still couldn't install.
I think pat wrote a post about how to get it working but I'm unable to find it.

Help
