This tablet has a widescreen 9 inch display with 5-point touch.
It has the Allwinner Boxchip A13 CPU with Mali 400 MP graphics SoC.

Any one using this tab, can get the original firmware easily from internet. Just search in google for "Jxd S9100 firmware".
Frankly speaking I found the stock firmware to be lagging sometimes, so I searched and found an alternative.

JXD S9100 = MaPan MX913 (almost similar)

Now I am using Mx913 firmware on JXD with not even a single issue, other than some games incompatibility which I think is the problem with ICS.

By making some tweaks to the build.prop (which any novice guy like me can do) JXD is just working amazing.
With its huge battery life we can be on wifi for long hours.

Looks like a Ployer Momo9 Star or DVC z9 clone.

I have the DVC z9 and have found that the firmwares are close, but not exactly the same. If I use Ployer firmware, the touchscreen doesnt work, but everything else does.

So before flashing, have an original copy of your firmware... :)

Thank you for your concern. I downloaded the original firmware and then started exp. other roms. I tried many and the issue was touch screen not working and then found out something similar to my tab -N900 and Mx913.

Now my only concern is I am not able to play Asphalt 6, and other high end games, it force closes after the initial video.
I tried changing build.prop - model,brand and name-but to no avail.

[Special note: If you mess up build.prop and are not able to boot.
Fail-safe is click the NO prompt in livesuite while updating firmware and revert back to original settings without losing any data.]

Any other suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I have quite a few tablets and Asphalt 6 doesn't run on a few of them, despite all my tablets being more than capable of running it.
I can however run Asphalt 7 on the ones that cant run 6 !?!

Perhaps Asphalt 6 is more picky - I have experienced that several Gameloft games have varied results on the tablets I own.

Ahh great. So I don't think you mind the ones that are not able to play asphalt 6, BUT if you do mind, there is a trick to play it in any decent tablet.

Manipulate the build.prop from the tablet "System" folder
ro.product.model
ro.product.brand
ro.product.name
ro.product.device
ro.product.board
ro.product.manufacturer

Make these entries uniform i.e., similar to the one in your Asphalt playable tablet's System/build.prop.

I think so many people know this trick, but not so willing to help out others in need.

Try it only if you need to check out all your tab's graphics performance. just FYI.

@pandigi

What is your tablet? If you are sure you have a JXD S9100 then Mx913 roms will work just fine.
Original firmware for JXD -

Mx913 stable rom for JXD-

@pandigi

you can get scripts or changes to build prop to get market running smooth and clean.

Well I found another tablet ROM almost perfect for our's.

The tablet is called - FreeLander PD60 Smart Tablet PC 9 Inch.

So i searched for their latest ROM and got Android 4.04. Only minor issue is with touch miscalculation by the ROM, but can live with it. Otherwise I think its somewhat stable.

Site for ROM: http://www.pandawill...Update-20120822
and get the right one called PD60.

Check out.

I used the same ROM, and I didnt find any issues with market. What error do you get while opening Market? Have you logged in your google account.

FYI: I am not an android programmer, but I am a good end-user and good at searching and troubleshooting with the help of google.

The ROM that I am now using, which is very stable, is Freelander PD60 on my JXD, it is Android 4.04, with great graphics performance, no lags, multitasking great.
It only had minor touch issues, which I rectified with a slight change in build.prop (google is my teacher).

I suggest you try the PD60 ROM too if you do not find success with the market issue.
