Ok, here is my kernel for this ROM.

It solves both issues i found. I spent some hours on troubleshooting:
* why Marcero's OC1B1 was working with no sound
* why WolfMod's 2.9 was working with flipped rotation
* how both interacts

The result is here: a working kernel for TeamDRH JB 5.3a
This is more integration than develop, but it is ok. Simply flash it with CWM after TeamDRH rom.

Technically, this is Team WolfMod 2.9 kernel, with Antibyte/Marcero tweaks (wifi led is CF activity, NV 3.0 codecs) and TeamDRH default build.prop.

LIMITATIONS ARE IDENTICALS TO TEAM WOLFMOD KERNEL 2.9: no HDMI, no MIC, SOD-resistant...

I also added some applications i use often (GoLauncher + GoBackup, SetCpu, EStrongs, live wallpapers), and set the boot animation to CM10 one. Feel free to remove them of course.

Changelog v1.3
- added recompiled modules by iCy. Theses modules are compliants with 2.6.39 kernel

Changelog v1.2b
- not necessary better than 1.2. This is based on WolfMod kernel 2.7 which is sometimes fluider than 2.9

Changelog v1.2
- modules lzo_*.ko and zram.ko are now compatibles with this kernel

Changelog v1.1

- WIFI name is now correct (was 00:00:00:00:00:00 previously)
- DPI default is set to 120
- no more included apps (so you 'll use your own/native launcher)
- Dalvik commonly admitted values for Hannspad: heap size=98MB, heap growth limit=48MB, start size=5MB

Weird... for me it did not install the bootanimation.zip, and the screen is kinda messed up.
The status bar, which is regularly located at the bottom, is now at the top... and i can't pull it down.
Something must have gone wrong, will check it back later.

Yes, this is the LCD density. In fact, above 160 (or 180) you are considered a smartphone, and you have the good old GB status bar.

I want this status bar (smartphone) because unlike the tablet one, you can really do fullscreen in a native way. Tablet bar is not hiding ie in perfect view, or cut the rope, etc...

It does not explain why bootanimation is not copyed correctly anyway.
I also have no idea why Wifi name is replaced by a blank mac adress :(

Sorry this is not a development: nothing was compiled (so no Git repo), this is only an include/exclude of files (DRH files, replaced/not replaced with included ones in Marcero or WolfMod.

FYI, here is how it looks like with my GoLauncher:

Picture 1, slidingdock is on the right side

Number of downloads: 77

Picture 2, app drawer

Number of downloads: 68

And Kameo, i'll never thank you enough to make me discovery Llama. It does not solve my SOD issue, but this is an excellent and very useful program i abuse on my phones / tablets :)

Hello,

i just flashed with this kernel my hannspad running the TeamDrh ROM 1.3. I was using the WolfMod's 2.9 and was very annoyed with the inverted screen (and so have to disable the auto rotation). My screen DPI is set to 160 and have the status bar at the bottom (perfect :-)

So a big thanks because with this kernel, no more issue with the screen and i have great performances.

But i have a problem with the GAPPS. Gmail and google music are not working anymore (i have a force close each time a try to launch it) and i go t many force close with google play. i tried to install again the Gapps, to clear the cache and data from these application, to remove my google account from the tablet and set it again. i also try to flash again the rom and the kernel but nothing worked and i'm still stuck with many Force close on the gapps. It seems to only affect the gapps, all the others applications are running well.

does anyone got the same issue ?

thank a lot for your help

I don't have such issue. You are installing the latest available gapps for JB ? :)

Edit: update 1.1: wifi fix, no more apps, common dalvik parameters, DPI 120

Link in the 1st post of this topic :)

Hello,

yes i have tried to install the last Gapps for JB, i also tried with the last gapps for ICS. Same problem.

I also tried with your news kernel V1.1, cleared all the hannspad (format all storages and partition), install the teamDRH 1.3 and install your kernel 1.1 and this time i have a new issue the wifi is not working. it's blocked on "activating WIFI", but seems to not have anymore force close with the gapps.

So sadly i went back on the wolfmod 2.9 which is workfing perfectly but with the screen rotation issue.

Anyway thanks a lot for your job a these kernel and time you spent on it :-)

Can you try one more time to flash only the kernel, above TeamWolfMod (without wipe, without clear any cache, simply a new install) ?

Hi Graveen, thank you so much for your kernel, it's perfect!!
Well, actually I'm posting this because it does have one flaw :D
I just can't load the zram module (along with its dependencies) because the one that got installed is not the one compiled with your kernel... I'd be extremely grateful if you could provide the correct modules :)

Detailed info:

root@android:/ # modprobe zram
modprobe: 'lzo_compress.ko': invalid module format
modprobe: 'lzo_decompress.ko': invalid module format
modprobe: 'zram.ko': invalid module format

root@android:/ # dmesg
