and he also provided the checksums:

ainol-e4-fire-20120822.tgz

MD5 f8f41287abf56e5857ab79c6a29cff14
SHA1 b5d4f554f3af465c03e2b4a166bbca08f2c1af10
CRC32 12cb4674

:good:

Thanks, Michael!!!!!

Wow...finally...seems they have woken up and start to see the obvious benefits in having 3rd party devs involved. Hope we see JB soon too.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the kind offer!
Do you have access to Mediafire? or Dropbox? Or something else?
BTW, perhaps our two threads about this source code release should be merged?

My thread should be deleted. Probably while I was editing mine, yours was already posted.

Dropbox is blocked. I'll try Mediafire. BTW, is Skydrive or Google Drive OK?

I'm downloading it now. It may take 1 hour for me to download and several hours to upload.

Thanks Michael! Google Drive would be just perfect as they (Google) seem to have just about infinite bandwidth. :good:

Thank you Michael! :clapping:

That's a 9 minutes download for me (I am in the Netherlands) instead of > 24 hours directly from China!

You can expect an Ubuntu port to the Fire in a couple of days at most. ;)

Compiled JB. Repacked the images. Gonna flash after dinner. Will update in a few hours. I need to have my kids in bed to be able to pay attention to this.

Looks good though, only the wpa-supplicant needed help -- and that's because Ainol messed with their bcd drivers and tried to limit adhoc networking.

If this works, I'm where I am with the Aurora II and I need only fix Settings APK and few things my 11 year daughter reported to me as my alpha tester. :)
