IPadAlternative. Com announced yesterday that today they will have M3 available at their site.
Do you know if there is official Jellybean FIRMWARE for M3?
If yes, it's a big advantage over N101+ that I consider also in my buying list.

From what I see, the pipo m3 has two FRONT facing speakers, ala transformer prime... should sort your main gripe with the m1...

now to find a reliable source for an M3, I have decided it's what I want.

Id keep away from the n101.
I had THREE from two different dealers and ALL had to be returned for either dead or almost dead microphones.
The pipo looks way better and as roman says, has better QC.

I have had the cube u30gt and returned it because the speaker sound was so quite at full volume... too quiet to watch a movie.

Odd... on Aliexpress, there seem to be two M3's.

One called Pipo "Movie" M3, which is cheaper than the one just called Pipo M3.

EDIT - I think the so called Movie M3 is actually the M2... very different in weight.

Hey Mark,

I think the M3 and M3 movie are the same device. The photos look identical too. Weight difference can probably be explained by vendor error. I take it that the movie tag just refers to the movie friendly format of the 10.1 inch screen.

It's probably like the Max M1 where some vendors used the Max name & some didn't.

I am hoping to get one very soon so will see how it compares to the alternatives. If the hw and firmware are half as good as the M1 then it'll be great!

Also looking forward to a 32GB version.

Have you had a look at the M2 with 3G?

I am guessing one would be able to just pop in your Orange UK sim card and start browsing the web on that... very nice for when away from home, on the train or something...

The m2 only has a 3mp back camera and also it is 9.7 vs 10.1.

Yes very nice option if you need 3G. Pipo are out for market domination I think.

I must say I haven't found the 9.7 inch screen on the M1 as much of an issue as I thought I would. Still looking forward to seeing the M3 though

If you look at the pics on this Aliexpress vendor, you can see that the back of the tablet actually has "Movie M3" written on it.

Yes that's what I am saying. Pipo called it the Pipo Movie M3 but some vendors just shorten it to Pipo M3.

Through my conversation with a vendor on Aliexpress I have learned that the Pipo M3 will not be released until after the upcoming Chinese holiday that starts this Friday and lasts until Oct 7th (I think).

On a side note, the holiday is a national Chinese holiday so if you are trying to get something delivered from China you better hurry up!

Does anyone know why the Antutu test score is in the 6000s? My Aoson M11 is much higher than that. Is Android 4.1 causing the lower score perhaps? Anyways, I can't wait for this tablet to come out, I am pretty set on getting one.

I thought the same thing. It could be set to a lower cpu frequency, early firmware or maybe they had a load of stuff running in the background.

Seems strange that Pandawill and every vendor on Aliexpress gets exactly the same result 6262! If you run Antutu on the same tablet twice in a row you are unlikely to get the same results. Seems to me like one set of dodgy results and photos etc which have then been copied to all vendors.

Pipo M3 is 1280x800 while Aoson M11 is 1024x768.. maybe that's why it got lower scores in Antutu? It's a really nice looking tablet though. Just saw the Pandawill video of it. I just hope it doesn't disappoint like the Pipo U1 did.

I bought the Pipo M3 at Pandawill but I had this mail from customerservice saying they didn't have it in stock while the other says: When the parcel ship, we will send you the tracking number.
Why putting it on their website then? It wasn't presell. Anyways, does any of you guys know when they are gna send them out? Im already waiting 3 weeks as I ordered it on the first day they had it on their website.

I bought mine today via Ali Express... after I got a refund from g a d g e t g r e a t s . c o m for my Ainol Fire (thank goodness) waiterd 45 days before I had to file a dispute via Paypal. I am almost glad I didnt get the Ainol Fire as it has too many issues. I m hopin the Pipo M3 is a better, bigger tablet!
