Also I have found group-buy proposition for it on chinatablets.info
Price is good - <$145 with China post worldwide shipping. In fact, price may be lower (depend of count of subscribers)

I kinda hoped the screen-to-bezel ratio was kinda like with my A7HD which IMO makes good use of its size..but still, this is one good tablet..dude, how bout that group deal?

Do you mean you don't know how to join group deal?
If so you need to leave your email in field. When deal will start you will receive email with instructions. I guess it will be the ordinary purchase on Aliexpress. You will only need to leave special message to seller to let him know you want buy Onda V712 with special price.

Don't see the point in this over the Ainol Fire or Pipo U1. The Fire still seems like the one to beat. Pipo's battery is small, and I haven't seen the battery spec for the Onda. No bluetooth is a deal breaker as well.

3000mAh battery? I think Ainol Fire is a better buy.

I saw battery capacity of 5000 mAh in some online shopping sites, did Onda upgrade the capacity in the newer edition??

Can you do a battery test. I am seeing 3000, 4000 4800, and 6500 mAh being stated as the battery capacity from various website.
